Here's a pic of the skin tones the 75cm body is available in from imomos taobao. They just put up the listing early so it's not available to buy yet.

Oh, interesting, I wonder if the 68cm boy will also come in these colors.

So far I only saw the Canis heads listed as cream and caramel, but I would probably want to get cream and vanilla then ... (and would have two leftover Canis-B heads then, and would need to hope that they also make him in vanilla, but let's see).

Our postal carrier didn't bother to come to the door and just left an attempted delivery notice in the mailbox while absolutely everybody was home on Friday 🫠 I have to wait until Monday to pick them up and I'm crawling up the walls with excitement but also impatience lmfao

Our babies were rescued from the post office today! We had a blast opening them up and getting them all ready I can't wait to paint them and make some different eyes.

I gotta say though, I'm baffled by the 16mm suggestion as these kiddos are all wearing 12 or 14 mm, the pink ones fit perfectly in his eyewells! Maybe I'm not accustomed to the different shapes of anime-style eyes, I dunno. But anyway, here's Pippin, Ellie, Mimir, and our one nameless holdout! Originally I got two of each skintone so we could both have one of each to customize, but my friend only wanted one so the three on the left are mine. 🥺❤️

Now on to some details:

Pippin is wearing standard MSD pants, obviously rolled up, but they were surprisingly a good enough fit I just folded the back and tucked it under his shirt - I think they might fit Minifee shorts? Ellie's wearing a MYou Doll fullset outfit from their 1/6th chunky Delia, and the fit is pretty much perfect, so I think that's a good option for these kiddos as well! Stretchy tights and shorts made for regular YoSD weren't a problem, nor were shirts made for Ken dolls (that's what lil man on the right has on).

...And if anyone wants to briefly be transported to a time, Mimir's adorable hoodie is an ipod holder from Claire's I cut the bottom and keyring off of 😂

So I'm coming back with a noob question lmfao, but better safe than sorry - is it safe to use silicone wig caps on vinyl dolls? I just want to make sure the materials won't interact, I don't want sticky babies! Thank you all so much 🙏

It should be safe! I’ve been using silicone wig caps and silicone ear plugs (as eye putty) for half a decade and I haven’t had any issues 😊

@chantelle tysm! the confirmation I needed.

I wonder if anyone has considered hybridizing the two 1/4th bodies (specifically putting the chubby limbs on the mature torso.) The bodies are inexpensive enough that I'm tempted to do it myself if nobody else does it first.

So my two 1/6 cuties came in the mail this morning. I love the Toppa and Toppi heads already, the sculpts are sooo cute. 

I won't be able to do anything with them until Monday, because I'm out and about, but I couldn't help putting some eyes and clothes on them.

Probably either Jane's doll land or Taobao via proxy if you ask me. I don't know of any other place, honestly.

I found a listing for the 75cm body from a reputable taobao dealer! (idk why the official imomodoll taobao doesn't have it yet tho, so this info is tentative)

Seems like the 75cm body will be 499RMB, so about 69USD (rounding up) before international shipping. And considering the size of this body... I wouldn't be surprised if shipping ends up costing more than the doll itself. 😓 If I were interested in buying this guy I would be tempted to try talking my agent into shipping him disassembled.

If I'm reading this correctly, it also looks like these guys will start shipping after July 20, which seems incredibly quick. NGL I'm very doubtful of that, but I guess we'll see...

I really love the eyes, what size did you use?

Does anyone know which color might match DD semi-white best out of the three colors available for the big guy? I can't quite tell if it'd be milk or vanilla, so I'd like to see if anyone here has a doll in either of those colors and a DD to compare to.

I'm also assuming the 14cm neck will be too big for DD, but maybe the 68cm guy will come in similar colors.

I'm pretty sure the Milk/milk cream color the 75cm guy comes in is the same as the cream/half-white the 1/4 and 1/6 dolls come in, cream is also a pretty decent match for volks semi white. Heres a photo comparison I found on instagram.

I'm currently bidding on a DD head auction, and if I end up winning it'll need a body. I'm tempted to have a vinyl boy in the group, so imomodoll looks like a good option for a possible hybrid! The impatient part of me wants to get the 75cm body but I think it'd look silly with most DD heads if not all of them bc of the neck, lol

1/6 dolls take 16 mm eyes and have a head circumference of 18.5 cm, so 7-8 inch wigs will do.

do you think the ones from mydollection are the 2.0 frames? It’s hard to tell which ones are the updated ones and which ones are not 😭😭
