Rinbu Revolution ~ Utena & Anthy

Rinbu Revolution ~ official photoshoot of my Utena & Anthy after 1 year as they were sent for face up a month later when I received them. 
I spammed them with my entire box of artificial rose for the whole shoot. 😆

They look soooo beautiful with new faceups, they really highlight their features. Lovely posing and photography as always! And I really like the wig you have chosen for Anthy ❤️

Thank you! I'm glad to have the purple wig from 2nd hand market, the color matches Anthy perfectly! 🥰

Thank you! I was using my old Utena artbook for pose reference, its really a challenge to pose them with aesthetic butI have fun! 🥰

Thank you! Here's a reference of the original artwork and pose, the original pose from artwork is actually much lower but not as appealing for shooting doll in real so I adjusted them a bit. 🥰

Photos were taken during Xmas season, the DIOR display was gorgeous so I went to take photos with the girls.

They are so stunning! I saw these just a couple of days ago on instagram! Their face-ups are so beautiful and I just love them posed by the Dior Christmas Tree. Their fashion is so on point too, I absolutely love it.

@SFSakana As a big fan of Utena and lgbtq dolls as well, these photos are so lovely! I was also wondering: where did you get those jackets for them from? (my girl is jealous and wants one too)

Thanks! I always bring my own lightning to make sure their eyes are visible and shinny. 🥰

I bought most of my doll outfits form taobao during limited preorder. Usually I will put the outfits for sell in my sales page after shoot,  you can check them out if you are interested.

i'm a huge utena fan, and i think it's amazing how much of the vibe of the original show you've captured! it really feels like the characters come to life in these pictures. they're gorgeous!
