wig from Pengin Workshop doesn’t fit

I bought a wig for one of my MDD head from Pengin Workshop on Etsy  It says 8-9 inch but it doesn’t fit any of the MDD heads I have. I have a DDH27 and DDH10 I’m guessing that other heads that are smaller might be able to use them. But I’m not quite sure which head?

Oof, that's a shame. I know the 8-9 PenginWorkshop wigs fit very close to perfectly on my DDH-06 girl and my Alna, and I'm pretty sure I could get them on my DD-26 boy, too. I do have to tug and stretch the wig to get it to go on, but once it's on, it grips tightly and won't slide or fall off.

 

Yeah I tried wigs that I used for my resin sd dolls and they fit perfectly but smaller wigs just don’t work for them.

Which wig did you buy from them? I used to own 3 of theirs (Ame, Emily, Hanako), down to 1 now, but all 3 of them fit nicely on a DDH-27.

I own Hanako but no matter how I stretch it out it just wouldn’t fit.

I have a Liliru, a DDH-01, DDH-09, and DDH-022. For me, the only head that has issues with their wigs (Patricia and Calista) is the DDH-01. There's a bit of patience needed for the wigs; I've found that it's better to wiggle them on side-to-side and ensure that it touches the ears first, then try to twist it onto the head until it can rest on top. When I put the Patricia wig on top of my Liliru, I noticed that the top of the wig cap actually doesn't sit flush on my Liliru's head, but it doesn't budge.

I have Macaron and Rin (8-9 inch) that I initially bought for my DDS Anastasia, but they were both so incredibly difficult to get on her head that I wondered if I’d ordered the wrong size. In the end, they didn’t look the way I wanted them to so I put them away until I got my first MDD (DDH-10). Surprisingly, the Macaron fits perfectly on the DDH-10 head, so in theory a 8-9 inch Pengin Workshop wig should fit yours assuming the headcaps (on the wigs) are the same. Maybe you need to leave it on a bigger head to stretch it out for a while?

The wig fits my Myoudoll Miya and she’s a odd size but has a bigger head than my msd resin dolls. Maybe the wig was made in the wrong size.
