I've been waiting since the 3rd for my application to be approved. 😞 I already pre-ordered my Miku from the USA shop, but I was keeping an eye on entering Elizabeth's lottery and just being able to build up points would be nice.

I think it's still possible! They do say on Elizabeth's page that "Customers who wish to become a GL/VS member/upgrade their rank should complete the procedure by 15:00 on Friday, January 19, 2024." 

I applied on 5 january, I sent them an email last friday and they said they had to cancel because my zip code wasn"t mentionned. I applied again with the zip code but they aren't working on weekends.

You easily forget to put that zip code as it isn't mentionned as "mandatory".

Where should it be inserted? In the shipping address or where?

In your info profile. Just below your email in Postal code. The red thingy isn't there so it was confusing.

Try contacting them.

My GL status was updated this morning, and I could order Miku.

I entered the site to check and I too found GL member status, order placed, now let's hope for the best.

Stupid question, but if I lose the lottery, the money comes back, right? Because on Miku's page she doesn't say anything about the topic.

 

Great if you could place your order.

What I understood was that is was a pre order until a certain quantity. If they do a lottery and that you don't get her, they should refund the money.

This is true. I just want to add that when it turns into a lottery, it turns into a lottery for everyone. So putting in your order now while it's still a pre-order does not guarantee you the doll.

My card was shipped! So it should be here soon. I bet they'll get to yours this week before the 19th. 

 

And yes, the money comes back if you lose the lottery! You don't pay just to enter. They charge your card to ensure that you can pay for it and their time doesn't get wasted. 

I say shipped, but I just mean approved I guess. The status on the site says shipped, but my account has been updated and I don't think I'm getting a physical card in the mail (no tracking or email). 

Miku has now officially turned into a lottery.

I am so glad I setup my pre-order through the USA store now. Commiting then not getting her would bite. Good luck to everyone who wants her! Hopefully there are only a handful of people who miss out. . . And all of them are scalpers. Lol

I lost both Volks Japan lotteries I entered. One was for SD Mytyl and the other was for a SD boy (I forget who now).

On the other hand a lot of people seemed to win the D'Coord lottery in 2022.

Miku doesn't seem to be declining in popularity - remix artists like Deco*27 are producing some amazing Vocaloid stuff right now.

The girls are really getting to like our Miku NT. She has a really distinctive faceup. She's a little crazy and unhinged and god forbid anyone who points out the typo on her skirt 😆.

Does anyone know how they'll notify whether you won or lost after the ordering period?

She is currently in my order history and nowhere in the lottery overview. I can't really imagine the refund will be the only way of saying hey you lost. But I also can't imagine them emailing everyone 🤣

I am honestly quite upset it did turn into a lottery (even though it was already pretty clear before the preorder even opened xD). I tend to be 'bad luck on legs' so I don't really expect to win. I'll keep my fingers crossed for everyone here who ordered.

I believe only winners get notified if they win. So just keep an eye on your mailbox. No news will mean you didn't win. It's definitely a very frustrating time with not much sleep lol.

Don't give up immediatly if you're not among the first winners. Don't quote me on this since I'm not sure how true the following is but I heard someone say that sometimes there are some dolls left towards the end because winners didn't come forward or other things went wrong and they then pick out some more winners for those dolls. So you may still have a chance of winning when it looks like all hope it lost.

So definitely keep watch on your mail like a hawk, and don't forget to check your spam too. I read horror stories before of people who won but didn't realize their mail was in their spam and saw it too late and lost out on the doll as a result. You don't want this happening.

Oh I'm glad to see people who didn't win are also getting mails now. At least you aren't kept wondering for an eternity anymore which is something.

I received emails when I didn't win Mytyl and whoever else I tried to win. The bad news emails were sent out pretty quickly. There's probably a better chance of winning Miku as they will have presumably made a lot more of her than they do with SD (which I believe are in production runs of 300).

That was Volks Japan btw. We're not allowed to order from Volks USA here.

I guess all Mikus will now have the correct skirt except for mine lol. If Miku was a stamp or a coin she would be priceless.

Thanks! I completely missed that. 

Today I woke up with a nice notification from the bank app, they canceled my payment for Miku, because Volks hasn't completed the payment procedure in all this time... 

I contacted Volks, hopefully they can get me to repay the preorder again. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for them to respond?
