Rescued an Old Obitsu doll

Recommended Posts

Kittywolf

Im still waiting on her, but i rescued an old obitsu Gretel (i believe is the head.) i know she has staining and such, but i dont know if she has loose limbs or not. I own another old 60cm doll, but I haven't played too much with him, so fortunately his old joints are still in pretty tight and sometimes squeaky condition.

I need to check parabox's website, but I imagine parts are probably not readily available if she needs any... so what are somethings I may expect if she has more then just staining??

Im excited to meet her, i've always wanted the mold...

Well, my old girl really sweats when she gets too hot.  She's a tiny bit yellowed on the arms and legs, too.

I mean stuff comes from her plastic and coats it.  It's something that happens with some plastics in high heat and humidity.

Really!? I’ve never heard of this but sounds both weird but makes sense. I live in Florida. But that might explain why some of my vinyl faceups don’t last. 🤔

Try googling it.  I didn't even know what was going on with my girl til I read up about it.
