ADYKA's flex body (hybrid seamless doll)

Hey guys. Recent discovery. I've been wanting an Evoke Doll (Seamless Silicone Doll) for the longest time, but the 600$+ price point and some rather down side have rather stopped me from committing to a purchase. Seemingly I randomly stumbled upon ADYKA's flex body doll. It's like a hybrid b/t a seamless silicone doll and a regular BJD.

I feel like I always complain that Alsty's brand new volks DDSf3 body is flexible but cannot do actual human articulation. Seems very interesting for me at least and I'll have to definitely put this purchase to the top of my list (There's my 500$ cart from Alice Collection, then my 280$ purchase from Volks.jp just days ago and then Bob's ad for Beato also...).

What's ya's perspective on this?

I have an Adyka flex body and its pretty nice both for posing and sculpt wise. It just requires much more maintenance than a regular vinyl body, and clothes that fit are much harder to find due to how thicc the body is. 

@mayaiincho  There are a few Adyka owners here, but no consolidated topic for them.  Pit and Forged_in_Mess both shared their thoughts here, and Baldylox did a detailed photoshoot here.  For me personally, the cons of care and feeding outweight the pros, but I know that the people who have them usually like them a lot.

I'll have to check those posts later today then. I emailed them about the dimensions as I buy all my clothes to specifically fit medium and large bust only. Essentially a good amount of the clothes I have for dolls simply wouldn't fit.

I definitely love the Adyka body!  I have 4 of them now and they're really nice.  As said earlier, they do require a bit more maintenance than a regular vinyl doll but it's really not by much.  Since I have a lot of DD girls with silicone busts, I'm used to doing what's needed to keep them nice looking.

As for clothing, I found that almost all DDdy sized clothing fits the Adyka bodies.  Some denim shorts have given me issues but other than that, skirts and dresses and pants etc have been no problem at all for them to wear.

I got a response back for the dimensions. I'll just put this purchase to the top for now. Alsty will be in stockings or thighhigh to keep the silicone clean then. She's fallen in mud, the river, yeah... I hope I can keep this body clean.

Come on Volks JP! my order hasn't even shipped yet (from like 5-6 days ago).

I have an adyka body I got second hand and absolutely love but one thing which I think is important to note I haven’t seen mentioned is weight. Since they are silicone with a metal internal skeleton they are pretty hefty, especially when compared to how light vinyl dolls can feel.

If you've ever weight the body before. How much does it weight? I don't believe the website even have the weight listed. I'd be rather important to me as I hike with my dollfies. 

Cameras, lens + dollfie is instantly 5 - 8 pounds.

I just weighed my girl and she was about 3 pounds (around 1.45 kg). My girl has flex arms so the weight would be be different from a doll who uses standard dollfie dream arms but likely not by to much. So not crazy heavy but defiantly more heavy than a regular vinyl doll.

Bought two for black friday. A flesh / milk and a semi white with the corresponding seamless arms. Their customer service was quick but varying in quality... 

I asked them if they had any plan on creating a DD large bust equivalent but they kinda seem to skirt around my inquiry which was really strange. 

I'll have a review for those interested

First impression after the two dollie's bodies arrived today. They bodies are buxom. I expected that due to my inquires but like always, it's different in person and in front of your eyes. The body line are indeed very attractive and I barely have any clothes that can fit them. I went through every single on of my clothes there were designed for DDdy and I found like maybe 2-4 outfits that would even attempt to hug those dimensions. Simply everything is bigger, especially the waist and hip. It was 8pm when i opened the box, I had no good sunlight to take photos >.<

 

ps:... From those new bodies, I've noticed how yellow Alsty's head has gotten in um... lets see when I joined. Editing.... 10 years, almost 11 years.

I've had my eye on them for a while! It's not the right time for me to get one yet but I definitely would like to eventually. The proportions not fitting most DD clothes sounds a bit bothersome though = =;;

It’s much bigger than a DD body, I would compare it to SD16 or Feeple 65 in terms of size.
