Well the things I like to do for my DD's is to make things that they can use. ex: some of the cloths that I made. The scaled size dollhouse that I made not too long ago. oh and playing dress up Thats some of the thing that I like to do with my DD's. I would like to know what every one else does if you all dont mind me asking.

Mine love clothes, especially maid outfits. They also have lots of tea sets now because I can't resist buying them for my daughters. I also bake 1:3 scale cookies and tarts with them. They like sending the extra treats with me to work to share with everyone.

Sometimes I bring them to work too. They always get a lot of attention there. It is also fun bringing them out to sightsee, although there isn't much to see here in Rochester. I am looking forward to the flowers of spring and summer. I would love to take a few daughters out among the flowers.

Recently, I got more furniture for them including perfectly scaled end tables made by Baldylox. I don't have tools to build things, so I am very happy to have the little tables. I also have a couple of chairs, so my girls can relax and play on their little laptop.

Hi Everyone,

Although Euphie and I haven't done much together, we do want to go on many sightseeing trips (especially to Japan - Cherry Festival!!). In my case, I would like to start up a business some time after college. Then, I'd save up to buy a place. The place would be doll-friendly, of course (have to make sure that most areas wouldn't easily cause stain)! And, Euphie would have her own "Sweet Lolita - Alice" room with cute little bunnies dolls placed around the room! The idea is kind of ridiculously, but the thought of quietly living alone with Euphie (and maybe one more Dollfie Dream daughter) would be nice (it would make for a very peaceful life). Imagine a doll mansion, in every room there would be an unique Dollfie Dream [my daughter(s)]. And, after I passed away, I would have Volks adopt all my daughters and their papa's mansion.

In addition - [My wife would be a life-sized doll.]

Now wait! Do I sound creepy, cause I think I do?!

Now for all of the people who are going WHAT THE HECK?! No, my wife wouldn't be a doll. And yes, a "doll" mansion would be nice, but I have to be freaking rich to do something like that. However, the notion of me adopting another daughter in the near future is true. I'm thinking of adopting a Yuki Morikawa Dollfie Dream.

I sincerely like the face sculpt that Yuki has, and won't be changing much of the face except for the eyes and wig.

For the eyes, I'm thinking of similar eyes like Euphie's.

For the wig, I'm thinking of the following wig:

5519195191_db2d899b03.jpg

Or the following, so she would look more like Euphie:

Or, maybe even the following, :

5519195175_3e54ef0591.jpg

Wigs from Miyura aren't a must. As long as a wig has one of those color and it is of quality material, then I would be fine with it. No sweat!

So, yeah. That's a short preview of what I'm doing to do for/with Euphie and my future "Yuki."

Have a good day, everyone!

Best,

Halcyon

I would have to say that the thing I enjoy doing with my girls the most is taking pictures of them and making up photostories.

I have always liked photography even tho I am not all that great with it. But it's fun to do. And having my girls as the subject of my pictures really makes it more fun. I always have a blast setting up 1/3 scaled items for them and letting them play out a story. This is how their personalities came out and developed.

I also enjoy finding little items for them to use in these stories. I used to not be able to find things so easily but after taking my time, getting help from Mitsuki and looking at things a different way, I seem to find scaled items much more easily now. It really makes my photo stories seem more real.

Lastly I like making things for my girls too. I am not nearly as good as Fenrir is with his Doll House setups but I do think my tables look alright. I was glad I could help Mitsuki out in getting some tables for her girls. And I now have someone else interested in buying some from me. It's really nice when your work gets appreciated, especially when it's fun!

I guess clothing is also something I like to do with my girls but it isn't as important as the things I listed above. I wouold be just as happy with fewer clothes as long as I could keep taking pics of my wonderful daughters in settings that have nice little goodies for them.

I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

I like painting and coordinating of eyes and hair. ^^;;;;

I am rotten about photo stories or taking my dolls out with me. Need... more... clothes... I wish I had doll friends in town who would so I could get more excited about it. Right now the thing I get most excited about is doing face-ups and creating new daughters for clients.

I actually do really large scale paintings (I don't know if I've talked about that before on here?). Dolls are a wonderful mix between make-up, color planning and expression research. NOTHING makes me happier than giving someone else a piece of art that they will totally adore. The detail work can be excruciating but in my past life I worked as an archaeologist and had to number all sorts of tiny items for cataloging. They didn't want to spend the money on fine tipped pens so we had to use ye ole metal quill and ink. I became pretty practiced! Doll work is no different... well.... except exponentially more fun than sorting through long dead people... though that does have it's own charm, I suppose.

Anyhow, I'd really like to learn more about airbrushing too so I can do softer looks and expand my portfolio. Dollfie Dream faces are absolutely the best! ^^

I mostly get my daughters clothing... Which gets kinda expensive when you have four girls to buy for... My girl Ash was the hardest one to buy for since she's a tomboy, but I managed to luck out and found a nice sporty set.

For now I can only make some simple underwear for her (I have made 3 pair of stockings, a coulpe of camisoles and a pair of panties, all in lycra fabric), but I would like to learn how to make shoes! I just love dolls shoes: so tiny... so cute...

I have also a project in mind... I still have to find a proper wig, a pattern to make an apron and to find some time to make some items with fimo!!! I will talk about it in the chara concept section!

Lately I have been having fun trying out different wigs on my girls. I can't really predict what would look good on them, so I just buy a few at a time, try each one. I'm learning that some wigs only go with certain types of outfits, and some of them can change their expression. On Aoi, for example, she can have a less pissed off expression depending on the wig she has on.

I love coming up with my dolls' back story. There is some serious writing in the works. Had a couple of false starts with an attempt to "blog" for them, but there's going to be a novel out of this yet.

It seems people like my tales too. I need to figure a lot of things out still, but once I do, it's full speed ahead.

The only thing I don't like is that initially I was going to do this as photo-manga. Unfortunately since many of the characters are not embodied either by my own dolls or dolls friends have I'm stuck writing prose. I can't draw for crap, unlike Kiki-chan and her "Acrylic Eyes" web-manga.

I like to find new chores for them to handle around the house. It's really worked out great. It keeps them busy and leaves them with less energy to fight amongst themselves. Peace at last.

I also like to photograph them during their charming and perfectly well mannered personal interactions. It's such a joy to share RIn's egalitarian every woman view of the world with others. Why not bring that joy to others?

Or in other words, I like to use them in stories to amuse myself and others.

I also occasionally buy them things like clothes, food, drinks, furniture and other accessories.

One of your stories suggested that you only buy them food very occasionally! You stories are lots of fun. Those tiny sponges are so cool.

I did say occasionally. But yes, I had to up the food purchase rate slightly as the dog was a looking a little thin and informed me she was tired of sharing. That Saber really can eat.

The tiny sponges are just pieces cut off a normal sized sponge. You too can put your girls to work.

I'm glad you enjoy the stories.

Dressing them, obtaining clothes, props, and accessories for them. Photographing and making stories of them. Taking them to all kinds of interesting places for photographs as well, in spite of my anxiety disorder, they help me to handle public places a little bit better. So really, my girls and I help each other out with stuff and a lot of fun is had in the process.

With 17 DDs, it's interesting trying to make sure I have enough clothing and fun things for them all so that nobody feels left out. However, I have yet to have all of my girls together in one place, which is a little saddening. But I do have 8 of them with me right now, some of which happen to be the most difficult to handle... It'll be "interesting" when I get them all in one place and Arisa and Mari meet... The world will probably come to an end, although Lily and Yoko would be there to assist Ayaka in preventing such insanity.

21 DD girls: Mio, Marina, Yui, Yoko, Nia, Lily, Arisu, Akina, Momo, Arisa, Yukina, Ayaka, Niimi, Eri, Millefeuille, Ekisu, Chitose, Miyabi, KOS-MOS v.4, Hatsune Miku and God Eater Alisa. 2B in a hopeful future.

I love to take photos! Its so much fun, especially outdoor shots. I've sewed a few simple things like socks and shirts. Also swapping out wigs and eyes - its amazing what different looks you can create just by changing wigs and eyes!
