Wig cleaning

Hihi, I hand washed the wigs and it made the wig netting loose.
Any idea what is the right way to clean and restore them?

I would check for tutorials for cleaning American Girl doll and cosplay wigs, since those are more common. From what I've read, you need to handle it very gently while the wig cap is wet, and not brush it out until it's dried. A spray bottle of water is probably a safer bet for wetting a wig than submersing it.
