Lost Angels 1/6 dolls and a Marmit!

Ordered some Lost Angel dolls from MANDARAKE: I bought them cheap to steal their Volks bodies: even with shipping they’re cheaper than Obitsu, and I like the Volks proportions. It was a gamble as I hadn’t checked which bodies they used, but I knew atleast one would be a Neo body. I also ordered a Marmit maid as I love the Marmit proportions for older anime customs: back to the days where anime girls were 2/3 legs and boobs so high you could rest your chin on them. (I may be exaggerating… but not by much). Etoko-chan is my current grail, and although my bank balance and I are now banned from MANDARAKE, I still check it daily…

The dolls: Shino, Sophia, Amanda and Darkmare! And Marmit Super Excellent Maid. I didn’t get pictures of some of these before I stripped the disintegrating pleather off them, but you can probably guess the ones who were in pleather…

As for Shino… by some miracle of the Volks gods, her vinyl pleather outfit isn’t flaking! It’s pristine! I’m taking this as a sign, she’s becoming a desk mascot. And she’s gorgeous.

I’m going to save the girls heads with their original boxes and costumes. While the fabric coatings are disintegrating, the underlying outfits are still stable, and include some lovely coats, corsets and body suits. So I’m going to disassemble the worst affected for patterns.

Darkmare’s Neo body is getting a new head, and then going toward a very special project: my 7 year old loves Angelic Layer, and she’s getting an Angel Egg under the tree this year.

 I’ll hopefully put up some pictures of all the dolls on their original outfits soon.

I've Three of VOLKS' old pre-Dollfie-era UFS Series dolls, - of which the "Lost Angels' Story" was an off-shoot line to -

and i've brought my favorite of the three, - To Heart's "Multi" - up to modern standards with the help of the OBITSU 26cm. Body;
