Japanese 3DS?

I'm strongly debating ordering one :/ Nintendo for some reason went the unpopular route of making the 3ds region-locked. So far on the system we have Project Mirai, Therhythm Final Fantasy, Monster Hunter, the new Love Plus, and I think the new Harvest Moon is on it as well. I'm sure there are more I haven't really read about yet, but the games I listed are a strong motivating factor for me.

 

Anyone else get one/getting one, on the fence, etc etc?

 

Also, I think this might help push me to learn japanese finally. I hate having games I can't play

I've been thinking of getting one for Project Mirai and Senran Kagura. Those are the only two games that really have caught my interest and for only two games, it seems like importing a J-3DS might not be worth it. I'll have to keep an eye out to see if there are any other games that might justify that purchase.

Oh that's really disappointing that its region locked :\ I really want to try out the new Love Plus...which new Harvest Moon? Because Tale of Two Towns (the newest one to my knowledge) is out in English for the 3DS.

I've been REALLY tempted to get one (or I would be if I had any chance at all of affording it) just for the New Love Plus. One more thing to go on "The List" of things to get once I finally get a new job...
