amarilian Posted January 6, 2024 Do the early DD2 Sirus bodies hip joint come out of the sockets another way. Do I have to unscrew the Internals to separate the joints out. I tried pulling them apart but nothing gave. I'm trying to replace the thigh pieces. There are joints in the thighs that seem to give, just don't know if it's a good idea pulling on it as it seems to just stop. baldylox Posted January 7, 2024 If your Sirius is on the DD2 body then no, there's nothing special you have to do or unscrew to pull th elegs off. Those old bodies have extremely tight hip joints so the best thing to do to get them apart is to spread the legs and apply heat from either a heat gun on low setting or a hair dryer to warm up the joint area. Then wear some gloves, grab the thigh and twist back and forth ( the motion for making the leg go up and down ) while pulling away from the body at the same time. It may take some real pulling and feel like it might break but that's really the only way to get them off. I've had to do this quite a few times on my older girls so I feel for you. 😄 Good luck!
