sunlightandtea Posted January 8 Hello! I noticed we only have a Puyoodoll thread in the off-topic section and I wanted to create a thread in the resin BJD section. I'm interested in seeing owner pictures of puyoodolls in all sizes (1/4th, baby kumako, pocket puyoodoll), as well as faceups, patterns, clothes, and people who are vendors for specifically puyoodoll supplies and faceups. These dolls are so adorable and I'd love to see more of the community around them! Thank you! michira Posted January 9 Sure! Here's my 1/4 egg01 in her current outfit: I really want to either make or find some bear-themed eyes for her. Right now these eyes have tiny bunnies in them! I also REALLY want a milk tea one... hopefully puyoodoll sells some soon! This is a very popular bodytype right now, so many clothes are being made which fit her, especially on taobao where I usually shop!
sunlightandtea Posted February 27 Hello again! Where do y'all find clothes for your kumakos? I'm struggling to find much in the states, even mandarake and mercari Japan seem kind of empty.

If the words "bear girl" or "chubby" are in the machine translation, no doubt there's Kumako size options available for the outfit. For dresses it's a bit easier to find things (I believe that regular dresses fit), but if you want pants and skirts, you're gonna need special clothes. Regardless, the best place to look for Kumako size clothes is Taobao. Makes sense considering Kumako dolls are from a Chinese company now that I think about it, hehe! RozenGermain Posted February 27 I think looking up Taobao.com can find it for you, IDK if a link will be best but here you go!

Do you buy directly from this site? Do they ship internationally?
RozenGermain Posted February 27 You need a proxy to buy internationally, sorry I didn't mention it. I use Superbuy personally but I hear Pandabuy is pretty good too. Depends on which one you like more I guess...

ragnamuffin Posted February 27 Taobao is kind of like the Chinese Amazon, but way better. They have all kinds of stuff, not all of it doll-related, so you’ll have to search for whatever it is you’re looking for and sift through the results. If you want to find clothes for Kumako, look for 熊妹娃衣 (Kumako doll clothes). To get you started, here is a famous brand called Mujia Doubutsuen. They’re super popular in Japan, but seem to be from China originally, and most of their 1/4 (4分 or 四分) clothes fit both Kumako and MDDs. They also make clothes in 1/6 scale (6分 or 六分), so make sure whatever you’re looking at is the right size.
