Kissamaagi Posted January 18 Starting a photo thread for my dolls! I'm still pretty much a beginner with photography, and only have my phone. Starting with a photoshoot with my Imomo Miko Seraphina, with a dress I made for her. She's a vampire, and I went for some sort of sleepy ethereal vibe with the dress, it kind of tries to look like historical chemise underwear dresses. But a super frilly version, because I love frills! The shoot title or concept is something like "Vampire in a snowy forest".

Heartplace Posted January 20 I just love snow photos! Your girl is so sweet out there exploring the woods, she's like a lost maiden. I hope she warms up soon, hehe. I also like the contrast of the her looking delicate in the snow with the harsh and sharp branches.

Snow photos really were fun to take, though kind of difficult, the snow was really light so it was hard to pose her in a way she wouldn't just dig into the snow. In the second picture her legs are actually all inside the snow, the dress just hides that well. Also she's all warmed up now! I recently even finished a knit scarf for my girls so she can have some extra warmth.

Kissamaagi Posted November 30 Laterposting some Arle from spring and summer because I only edited the pics now orz. The 5 or so cherry trees in my city's centre bloomed in the spring and like many other people, I also wanted to photograph them. It was quite hard trying to position so the light was okay but not much people in the background. But I ended up with some cute photos of a spring schoolgirl vibe Arle. The big con hosted in my city late summer/early autumn also had a doll meet that was free to attend without the con badge! So I went there, I also visited last year, but only took Arle in her default outfit since she was so new back then. I made a lolita dress for Arle to kinda match my own. But I ended up only taking one photo of only her orz... Ah well there's also a photo of her looking cute and cozy in my bag. The dress definitely didn't turn out as well as I'd liked to, I definitely need more practise with doll sized sewing. I hope it snows soon again so I can get some snowy schoolgirl pics of Arle too, that would be cute!
