meteorite Posted February 9 I've been sewing for dolls for a few months now and want to share some of it with you all. Constructive criticism is OK! I began sewing for Pureneemo & Obitsu first. There's so many patterns & ebooks on Etsy for Blythe size dolls! The newest one I got is Doll Coordinate Recipe #12 - Fairytale style by Rosalynn Perle. I'm a sucker for lolita clothes. Here's my Pureneemo, Nana, showing off her new outfit ... And Mirai's new bra. My copy of Taeko Sekiguchi's DD Sewing Book finally arrived and I'm slowly building up her wardrobe. meteorite Posted March 14 (edited) I made an infinity wrap dress using the tutorial from Lomi's Playground. I've decided Anne will be an elf/demihuman fantasy character and I had a nice, textured cotton from a shirt that shrunk in the wash ~ I've ordered boots and a new wig from Dollyteria to complete the look. meteorite Posted June 8 DDH07 (Flesh) arrived. I like the head-body proportions in photos. IRL, her legs still look a bit too long, and the skin color mismatch is more noticeable. But this is the best I'm going to get without ordering Dream Choice just to get a tan DDH07. I'm going to paint her over the next week. meteorite Posted June 12 W.I.P These 24mm eyes came with a DDH04 (which is now ruined through experimental customisation, heh...) I always thought bright pupil-less eyes were creepy but they work so well with 07's makeup. meteorite Posted June 14 My smart doll has been reincarnated ~ Her wig and shoes arrived so I dressed her up and did a photoshoot. Dollyteria is a godsend for second hand wigs! Every wig I received from them has been beautiful, despite costing just around 1500JPY. I made this top a while ago, intending to use it for jirai kei, but it works well with casual outfits too. Shorts and shoes were purchased secondhand.
