Now, I just need to wait for SophieBabyBear to get back to me. These are the options I ended up choosing: Head: 09 Skin: Semi-white Makeup: 03 Body: Dollfie Dream Sister Boy Eyes: V - Green (teal, really) Wig: Shaggy boy, Navy I'm planning to name him Tsubasa! If you don't get a Volks face-up and plan to commission a face-up artist, I'm sure lots of us here would be thrilled to give you our best artist recommendations. An MDD boy with the DDH-09 face sounds absolutely adorable! What's your guy's name, and do you have any photos of him? I plan to keep him with his default faceup, but I just love the stunning faceups I've seen on dolls here! I would love to have a doll's faceup commissioned some day, and am definitely open to artist recommendations! I'd discovered SophieBabyBear's proxy through this forum, actually! After learning about Dream Choice, I'd been researching proxies, and this forum has been a huge help in learning which proxies are good and which are... not so much. After a lot of consideration and reading reviews, I decided to contact Sophie with a few questions on Instagram. She was an absolute sweetheart answering my questions, and she sent me a link to her website, where she has her pricing, fees, and even shipping estimates listed! Wonderously_Strange Posted February 27, 2024 (edited) Sophie sent me photos of Tsubasa tonight, and I can't believe how absolutely adorable he is! Sophie let me know immediately when she went to make him that the Volks employee she booked the appointment with hadn't realized that the 09 head with the 03 makeup in Semi-white has stopped production for the time being, so I was able to have him made in Flesh instead. It's actually a good thing, because I'd been wishing that I'd chosen Flesh anyways! I just think it suits him better. I'd ordered heart hands with him, but Volks didn't have them in store at the time, so they're shipping them to Sophie, who's then shipping them, along with Tsubasa, to me! He's even sweeter than I could've ever imagined! He's my baby boy and I already love him so much.
