Comparison between Ranka and Momo?

Does anyone have the dollfie dreams Ranka Lee and the Xenosaga Momo who wouldnt mind takena pic of their faces side by side? Im curious about their simularities and who i would like more! Thanks in advance! 

I think @Cazzie_Bliss has these two? Maybe? 🤔 

I do! I literally just got Ranka's head in today so this is great.

First off, Momo's head is a CHONKER! Ranka's head is tons smaller compared to it. Momo's also rounder in the jawline and Ranka is very pointy. 

Ranka looks like Momo's little sister!

Wow! They are super similar. I really like both of them but then thought if their so similar why get both? Thank you. Momo on the left and Ranka on the right?

Ah yes! I should have explained that, haha. Momo on the left and Ranka on the right, yes!

I think they have enough differences to make them individually unique. Momo has a slightly more realistic style to her while Ranka is very anime, but Macross Frontier has quite a different anime style than what's considered the usual. I have both because I like their characters from the anime/game.  

I also think there's only so many ways you can sculpt a head, so similarities are bound to happen. But I don't think that's a bad thing!

I also have a Ranka and Momo. Well, 2 Momos actually.  😆 

Here's all 3 together with a repainted Momo on the left, a default Ranka in the middle and a default face up Momo with different eyes, wig and on a DDdy body. 

As you can see, wigs and eyes can make a big difference in looks. I like the default of Momo but I decided to go a different route with mine. 

Hopefully these pics help you out!

Your girls are adorable! I think I’ve made a mistake asking for pics. Now I want both of them even more!

I know right?  When I first got into DD's I had no idea how drastically a girls look would change just by swapping a wig or eyes.  Now I've got plenty of girls with the same head but drastically different looks to them.  And I agree, Momo is very versatile and super pretty!    Thank you for the compliment on my ladies.

Thanks so much!  And yep, you screwed up because not only am I a big enabler, so are LOTS of others here.  So now you're doomed to have more and more pretty dolls in your life!  LOL  Oh wait, that's not so bad is it?  😉

Thanks so much!  And yep, you screwed up because not only am I a big enabler, so are LOTS of others here.  So now you're doomed to have more and more pretty dolls in your life!  LOL  Oh wait, that's not so bad is it?  😉

yeah I try not to repeat sculpts. But you’re absolutely right that even eye changes make them look so different.

Both Ranka and Momo come on DDS bodies so in default mode they're actually the same height.  The ones in my photos are also both DDS bodies but Momo seems taller than Ranka only because her shoes have bigger heels.  😄  And the Momo on the DDdy body is definitely taller than both of them due to that body being taller on its own.
