rootleaf Posted March 16, 2024 Hello all, I am a novice 1/6 scale figure collector since September 2022. I have purchased 1/6 figures made by Jiaou Doll, Tbleague and Worldbox. I am new to bjd dolls. I am looking for some help in identifying a figure I saw in an AliExpress seller's ad selling 1/6 scale clothing. The figure in the ad does not look like anything I have seen before. I have asked around and looked around and it seems to resemble anime BJD dolls but I have not seen any that have the same features. I've even asked the seller and he/she does not know what type of doll it is. Therefore, I defer to the experts on this forum to possibly point me in the right direction? As far as I can gather: The dress, in the photos, is designed for a 1/6 scale figure or doll about 30cm tall. I don't think the head is the same, however, it is VERY close! I am very familiar with the YMToys heads and I'm glad that you pointed it out. Also, thanks to you, I found the body on the Hobby Search site. It's called the "Eve Doll Nymph30 Action Doll Body". It is a pre-order item and is due to be released in June 2024. I found out that the head sculpt in the original photo is a type of custom doll head called Bedoll and the connector fits the Eve Doll perfectly, however, it is very expensive. Therefore, I will use the YMToys (YMT033D) head you suggested as a suitable replacement. It won't fit perfectly but there's nothing a little blu tack won't fix. Many thanks!
