Dealing with hand tremors?

Recommended Posts

honooko

Hi guys!

I just finished my sixth vinyl faceup, and keeping in mind it's been years since I did my resin girls, I was really frustrated by hand tremors. I have them as a side effect of a medication I take, but they make it super hard for me to make controlled, fine lines. I have the thinnest brushes imaginable and when they work, they work great, but the truth is that I have re-done the faceups on all three dolls after the first attempt because I felt like they were too heavy-handed.

Does anyone else have tips for tremors? I brace my elbow and wrist as much as possible, but it feels like I'm fighting a losing battle sometimes.

I have shaky hands I think it's just from caffeine but what I find helps is take a deep breath, exhale half of it and then do my line. It's originally a tip for shooting straight (ah country living) lol but it seems to help me and I hope it helps you.
