313C7 Posted April 12, 2024 Back in April of 2015 Steam had Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 on sale for $18. Never played a JRPG before but it looked interesting enough. Bought the game, installed it, and got hooked pretty quickly. As I played, I felt the keyboard controls were not great so I bought a wireless XBox controller (~$40) and the game got much more enjoyable. Made a lot of progress and then hit a hard wall: One of the levels would not render with the graphics card I had. After much deliberation, I spent $330 on a new card and got back to the grind. I don't want to think about how much I've spent on scale figures from the franchise. Fast forward to today... I still haven't beaten the game, but I'll be throwing more money at the franchise as I start to work on a DD Purple Heart. Weird how that $18 spent 9 years ago has turned into this. So, naturally after all that, its time to make a Dollfie of her. Spoiler Body-wise, I thought about a DD body with a L bust, but now I think Purple Heart would be best suited as a DDdy in Semi-White. Bust would be the DDdyIII-B-02-SW Shapely. I want her to have the power symbol pupils so custom eyes are a must. Wig will need to be a commission too as I don't have hands nimble enough, nor the patience, to braid her wig. I found V-J Doll Cosplay has a few of Purple Heart's outfits. I've tried to reach out to them on IG but haven't gotten a reply. Don't have a Facebook account to reach out to them with, though. 313C7 Posted Saturday at 03:27 AM Update: I'm working on getting everything lined up, but I don't yet have an outfit for her. V-J Doll Cosplay has yet to get back to me on Instagram. I don't have a FB account to reach out to them, and I've been struggling to get Line to work on an old device. If someone knows of another way to reach out to them, such as email, I would like to know. Once I know I can get her outfit, I'm ready to order her body.
