Shirayuridolls Posted April 19 Hello 🎶, I wanted to share my custom Frieren painted by me Shirayuri_dolls on IG. I used a ddh-09 SWS that i modded with melted vynil. I've worked hard to give her a special look that captures her spirit based on this artwork by Nagi : Her complete custom outfit was made by my mother. The materials look higher quality than what Volks used for the outfit, so it appears more high class than the official one. :3 ❤️ I'm very curious about the process of modding eyes with melted vinyl, it seems to give better results than putty that you would have to airbrush to match the skin tone. For the modding I use the same process as @hemisdollroom on YouTube. You can go check her work it’s better than words! It's nice that your mom opted to make the trim more golden and shimmery with this fabric. It gives her an even more elegant style. I usually don't say that about "remake" attempts, because technically Volks is supposed to be the m4st3r, but this one turned out really good! Tbh, I didn't really like how Volks did her multi-colored eyebrows (looked a bit weird to me, especially on a doll, and therefore I found her sculpt kind of ugly...), but yours almost makes me want one! 😄 Of course, I denied @rudebuster the original, this one's yours, and I don't know anything about the character or her series, so that's obviously not going to happen!
