DD Dream Choice

I'm so tempted to put a request in for a Choice doll while I'm waiting for Miku NT to arrive but I'm not so sure what parts I want. 

My plan was to make another Miku but a MDD version (maybe with DC-H-27 head)

Has anyone ever used the service before? If so, what options did you pick? I'm really curious to see which combos you went with! 

My two MDDs (Nero and Ulyliyha) are Dream Choice dolls. You can see them in the Doll Directory (or through my profile).

Nero was my first. She’s a DDH-10 head with M03 makeup in semi-white skin. I got her with 24mm Type U eyes in yellow, which I later switched to 22mm since they were too big for the smaller head. I don’t remember which wig I got with my order since I planned to have her wear a Pengin Workshop wig I had, but she wears the Cheerful Tail (WK-15B) wig in white now.

I originally got her with a DDS body since I already had an MDD body at home and planned to use the DDS body for another doll. In the end, I put her on the Integrated Asexual Type body I got with my second Dream Choice order a few months later.

When I placed the order, I was torn between the M02 and M03 makeup, and afterwards kept wondering if I’d made the right choice. Eventually I caved and placed a second order a few months later, which is how I got Ulyliyha.

After some body, wig and eye swapping, they now look the way I want them to and overall I’m satisfied with how everything turned out. Both dolls are meant to be the same character as she looks in one of my favourite games and its sequel, which made all the swapping and switching easier. I don’t know what I would’ve done if they were meant to look like two radically different characters 🤷‍♀️ 

I’m planning to get a DDH-27 in tan on the Chimikko DD body if it ever comes to Dream Choice. Possibly the 28 and 29 heads too if the faceups are nice enough 🤭

They are absolutely gorgeous! The DC-H-10 head is such a cute look, now I'm even more undecided, haha :P 

If Dream Choice wasn't so pricey I would consider it for a Len MDD with the Asexual body. I prefer passing off the girl body as a boy just because it's easier to do than going through DC. If the Asexual body (and Volks boy bodies in general) was more readily available, I wouldn't have to do that

I got my semiwhite DDB through dream choice, it was a split though, so the head and wig didn't stay with me (I still own the eyes, but they are not in use).

Went through that route because it was either that or getting Kaito for his body, because he got announced at that time. His skin color wasn't confirmed back then and on the first pictures he looked very sw, but well ... as it came out that he is flesh decision was set on dream choice.

The process was very easy, because I went through a good proxy, but the customs ... man. I have been ordering from japan for so many years, but that was my most stressful encounter. Due to the high value things turned out a lot more complicated paperwork wise. He is also up to date my most expensive doll, hitting around 900€ all things combined.

It makes me treasure him even more, but I wish Volks would make base bodies like this more available.

I ordered 2 different DC dolls from 2 different proxies, I have one with me currently and I am waiting for the other to ship. ♥
I adore adore adoooore my 24! She is so sweet and truly beautiful, and I am excited to see my 23 in person.
I ordered 24 on a DDS body and decided that the head was too big for the body so I swapped it for a DDf3 I already had on hand and now she fits like a dream.

Have you checked out JadePixel's Dream Choice Guide? It helped me pick out what I wanted with lots of photos. (Even though I am sure now that the eye-colors in the photos do not quite match what I received in person, there is totally a difference.)

I have a few Dream Choices, though I bought them all second hand, I wasn't the original putter-together.

This pair are mochi-ashi DD-H-21's. Hana (left) is semi-white and Misaki (right) is tan.

I really love this head scuplt. I prefer the moulded mouths rather than the ones just painted on.

Also this head is perfect for the Frieren/Serie elf <( =w= )> face. Just be sure to order elf ears at the same time. Hana came with 2 sets of elf ears and a legion of spare hands.

Yup, Jade's guide is a lifesaver tbh! I intend on using 3rd party eyes off Etsy, as I found some customs that fit my idea better, but it's good to know about that eye colour thing. 

Echoing that Jade's guide helped a lot!

Didn't end up keeping the wig on it as it stained the head (in the small area my wig cap didn't cover), so I'll have to post updated photos!
