HongBee Posted May 7, 2024 I recently got an AP body thats without a head, hands or feet and i attached OB50 parts on her. Recently, i managed to find heel feet but there was no screw... So i made a connector to secure the ankle and took screws from a damaged torso. It didnt fit too well but works. Does anyone know what screws to use or can you show me the parts needed to attach the feet? Thanks for the help.
Oculae Posted May 7, 2024 The screws for the heel feet should be the same as those used for the flat feet. I'm not sure which screws in particular would fit, bit if you happen to find some extra flat feet or just want to reuse your feet set's parts, those should work the same. You just might need to heat the heel feet's vinyl up a bit to get the screw to seat correctly in them. Please ping me when replying!
HongBee Posted May 7, 2024 I tried the flat feet screens but it can't reach for it to be secure. Currently I am using the screw in at the ankle joint because I got so many broken ankles lol.
ragnamuffin Posted May 7, 2024 (edited) The screws for the heel feet should actually be a bit longer than those for the flat feet. I ordered mine directly from Quarantotto and they came with slightly longer screws, but you also have to cut the vinyl tongues on the Obitsu ankle part because they’re too long for the bridges on the heel feet. If, like me, you don’t want to do this, you’ll have to remove the bottom ring from the ankle part and find even longer screws to reach the part where they screw in. The ankles are different too? I thought the skeleton are the same OB50 parts... These heeled feet are giving me a headache... I could barely find any shoes for them too... The bottom ring is removable. You can take it off and put it back on even if the part itself is not broken, but you’ll have to file the tongue down if you want it to fit into the heel feet. I could barely find any shoes for them too... Btw, just in case you or anyone wants to know, the heeled feet can fit into some normal flat shoes as well! My fav doll shoes are these mary janes: https://www.acbjd.com/sh374-black-p-12890.html?cPath=1_21 and the 1/4 size fits on my heeled AP's feet no problem. Any kind of shoe that has enough depth/room in the bottom of the shoe should work as well. You can't tell that the bottom of the feet are heeled at all and the top of the foot doesn't look weird in them either, especially with socks. I will note that even when wearing those shoes, she seems to not be able to balance as well as my flat footed girl in them, but it's still not too bad either. Just wanted to chime in with that since I've seen a lot of people say they hate having to buy expensive shoes specifically made for APs like Code Noir's, but there are actually more options than I thought! I'm having trouble fitting them all into this post, so here's an imgur link: https://imgur.com/a/O6QCaTb My doll was standing pretty stably on the sideways shots, but I just had her leaning a bit on the dresser in the front facing shots. All of the shoes shown are ones designed for flat feet. The first ones are the same mary janes from Alice's collections that I linked before, but in white. I absolutely love them and they are the shoes she's most stable in. The straps have 2 sets of holes, so I put them on the lower one to give the top of her feet more room. The next ones are two Azone Iris Collect heeled shoes that I had. As you can see they both look ok from the front, but you can see the side of her foot in the brown ones and how much higher her arch is and how close her foot is to slipping out. The others one fits just fine. My other pair of Azone mary janes that came with Sumire are wayyyy too short to fit on a heeled AP. They barely even fit on Sumire herself. The rest of the shoes are cheap ones from Aliexpress. The first white heels fit perfectly, but the strap is a bit short, so it's a huge pain to fit it through the buckle. I gave up after getting them through one side, but with a bit of patience I'm sure I could do it. The other 2 are basically the same shoe, but the first has a higher heel than the other. The width of these is really narrow, so it's really hard to fit them over socks (but I have done so in the past before). I also have a pair of platform mary janes from the same seller, but since the strap is not adjustable, it won't go over the top of her foot. I hope this was helpful! (also I just noticed strands from her wig falling out in the photos, please ignore that I just brushed her recently lol)

My first breakage came because the original boots for my Noix cant fit and with a little push i destroyed her ankle...
