What would happen if a bunch of dolls were suddenly voodoo cursed?

I tried so hard to prevent @rudebuster from getting this doll, because I felt she was just trying to compete with everyone else, but in the end she convinced me to allow her to get one. So, here she is, @rudebuster's Frieren doll! I tried to put her in a cool pose to make up for my denying her the doll, and I hope it shows.

We hope we styled her wig and staff correctly! There was a lot of notice of people not quite stying her wig correctly, so I hope ours is good. @rudebuster was the wig styler, so if we did it well, congratulate her!

I've enjoyed looking at your pictures! How are you feeling about Frieren now that she's home? She's a lovely doll! You and @rudebuster did a great job styling her!

I guess she's a little better-looking than I originally thought, though the eyebrow thing is still a bit weird. 😉 I did have fun putting the staff together.

Long time coming, both that reply and the following post, but I've been getting my butt kicked. And not just by school. I'll just say, the heat is not my friend, and I apologize to anyone who may have been at Volks on the 6th; I didn't mean to scare the everliving crap out of you! Fortunately, though, I was able to go to Doll Show and picked up a surprisingly big haul for that event. Here's some of our dolls showing off our goodies.

Zenon (with different hair) picked up a nice cyberpunk outfit. Kinda goes good with who her character was based off of.

I don't think this outfit was picked up at Doll Show, but it was next in line, so I'm including it anyway. @rudebuster saw how Ai's hands were posed and made a comment like, ... ok, admittedly, I can't remember what she said enough to quote it. But I agree with her, I honestly can't pose hands better than they pose themselves, as odd as that sounds. I did a little fixing with this one, but it was pretty much already posed like that before I even picked her up!

Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the klaxosaur! Welcome to my newest girl, Zero Two. She's also sporting something from Doll Show, so she came with perfect timing!

I also have one more girl now, and I'm itching to show you, but I like to put body stockings on all my dolls to prevent staining as best as I can. Let me out of quarantine so I can get to Volks, get some body stockings for our new girls, and I'll show you a whole new world~

I actually took these a few days ago, but I wasn't feeling well enough to post when I took them. Sorry. They're both of my newest doll, Ojiya, from Dororo (2019). I don't expect some of you to know her name even after watching it, so the short of it is, she's Dororo's mother.

The first photo is kind of a spoiler, so I'll hide it and the explanation behind a spoiler box.

Ojiya, in order to protect Dororo, goes through extreme malnourishment, and after witnessing the death of her husband and keeping his body around for a couple days before finally burying it, she began having hallucinations that maggots were in her skin and she would scratch at her wrists. It's a bit gory, but all of Dororo (2019) us gory, and I wanted to recreate this idea.

On a less gory note, Ojiya and Dororo are finally reunited! Shh, Taisho secret! Dororo is actually missing one of her hands, but I hid it; later, @rudebuster found it in a box on the floor. One of our cats, Susie, loves snatching doll parts and accessories and bringing them all over the place. We're going to have fun with that when we move apartments soon.

Eh, at this point, expect long stretches between each post. 😭 But I got this cute outfit for my Akane a while ago, and I finally took a photo of her in it yesterday. Akane Kurokawa is my bb; talk shit, get hit.

Sorry!! I've had a lot going on; university, getting ready to move to a new apartment, and other personal issues. I have taken a couple photos a few weeks ago, but I never got around to posting them, unfortunately. Yesterday, I had a little more time to take photos, and today I get to post them!

The first two are of Zenon in her demonic form, which she may eventually get if she defeats the current Satan by cutting off his horn (she's already tricked him into divulging that information, now it's just a matter of getting into the ninth circle, the battlefield between the opponent and Satan himself).

This one's a little cooler, because we found her a Satan tail and eyes.

Look at this little cutie! It's young Kyojuro! Isn't he the cutest little ray of sunshine babby there is!?

And finally, the Chimikko twins!

Anya's head is way too egg-headed, I think; the regular heads work just fine with the proportions. They work much better than the Imomodoll NikuNiku bodies, sorry. We got the bodies recently, but the heads were originally on the NikuNiku bodies. They were a disaster. 😭 So we're happy the Chimikko bodies are finally out!

I took this photo a couple days ago (finally, somewhere else besides my stupid bed), but I was going to wait to upload it after I took a few more. Unfortunately, now that I have severe back pain, and with the fortunate good news we just received that we got approved for our move to Minato-ku and will probably be spending a lot of time getting ready for the move now, I'll upload this poor, solitary photo all by itself. (Then again, it's not like I haven't done that before.) Let him pray for all our souls.

It's Georgios from Fate/Grand Order (shudder). As much as I wish that series to the ninth circle of Hell, there are a few characters we like and we've shelled them. The other two are Siegfried and Kriemhild, and we may possibly do Enkidu as well. Unfortunately, that means we may have to do the behemoth himself, Gilgamesh. 😓 But he's a joke.

Sorry, Fate/Grand Order ruined our lives. 🤷‍♀️ So it's payback time.

Saturday, I met @Kanime at Akihabara Denkigaiguchi while @rudebuster did a Dream Choice appointment to get a DCH26. I met her to pick up the Fiorista DD Flesh male muscle bust I had asked her to pick up for me at I-Doll, since I couldn't go due to severe back pain. We really wanted this bust for one of our characters, since he's muscle-bear (ムキムキ💪), so I was so happy she was able to get it, since they're hard to get. @Kanime and I exchanged bust and cash, then went our separate ways; I to do some other errands at RadioKaikan and meet up with @rudebuster as she waited for her Dream Choice to finish. Then, while we were there picking up outfits and supplies, we had an unprecedented meet-up with (surprisingly) @Kanime (again, haha!) and @ragnamuffin. After a long conversation (especially between @Kanime and I), we all eventually decided we clogged up the Doll Point aisles long enough and dispersed.

We went home to put the new bust on and dress the muscly man, which took awhile because I also had to fix the sound system at the same time. And the outfit was kind of an asshole, so it took a little bit longer than I would have liked. But I finally got it on and took the photos, but then while I was editing the photos, @rudebuster and I watched the last two episodes of the Mugen Train Arc, and I bawled like a f*cking baby while finishing the edits because it was during my best boy Rengoku-san's death, but here's the photo of Tengen Uzui in full muscle—but not quite full Hashira regalia. We're still working on that; thinking about going to Yuzuwaya soon to get supplies for his headband and his arm bands!

You guys, you guys, I finally took the photo of my dreams after waiting for the perfect moment for three years. None of you get to see it though, it’s *ahem* personal. 😚

Moved into our new apartment in Minato-ku! It is so much better than our previous apartment. Aside from the fact that the real estate agent lied about the original apartment having an elevator (a much needed commodity that made life hell without one) and we had limited time to find a place to live as we were staying in an AirBNB. This time, we already were living somewhere, so we had time to shop around, and made sure the place we got had the all commodities we needed. And here we are, finally! It's a little larger than our last place, and since the building was literally just completed before we moved in, whoa all the high-tech gadgets they put in! It's awesome!

To celebrate, I took this photo of Kriemhild, who I've been meaning to take photos of. But due to flu and preparing for the move, got no time for that. But now that we're (mostly) settled in, here's a photo of her!

I hope she looks cool! Last night, I also arranged all (ok, most, we still have three that are in current state of customization) of our dolls on these awesome shelves! We didn't know the full extent of what the apartment would look like, because as I said, it was only completed a couple days before our move-in! Maybe one of these days, I'll arrange them a little better, but you have to understand: I was hauling bags and cats around all morning! And then there was the forty-minute search for the elusive Susie... I hope you like the little arrangement! Like flowers, only dolls!

In December, I had to renew my residence card, and one part of the process is to stop by the Family Mart downstairs and pick up a revenue stamp. While I was down there, I saw the cutest little New Years snakey and I just had to have one. He has his own special place in our display cabinets for now. Mr. Snakey demands sacrifice.

Yes, I know, this isn't a Dollfie Dream item. But it also isn't the main focus of this post, either. Volks themselves came out with their own version of a white New Years snake, and considering a couple dolls we have, @rudebuster and I knew we couldn't wait. We had to put an order in for them as soon as possible, because we had a feeling they would sell like hotcakes (and we couldn't get out until the middle of the week at the earliest)—and sure enough, just as we suspected, there were none when we did make it in store. Thank God for our insight. Because if we hadn't, I wouldn't be able to present to you this wonderful photo of Mitsuri gifting Obanai a special New Years gift!

A lot of work over the past few days. 😨 Government institutions opened up after New Years holiday, so we were finally able to begin registering our move to Minato-ku. Then there was the clearing out of our old apartment, and @rudebuster is currently at the old apartment to wait for the landlord so she can turn in the keys. After the keys are turned in, that apartment is out of our lives! It wasn't a bad apartment, by any means, but it did have its problems (mostly accessbility-related) and the majority of the neighbors sucked. Like the one who held us up for fifteen minutes demanding our contact information, making us late for my appointment; the college-aged stiffs who I swear were smoking skunk in their room; and whoever the elephants upstairs who were having sex multiple times a day. Sorry, guys, there's a slim period of time where pregnancy can happen, so another (less annoying) method might be better. Either that, or they were just horny. Idk.

But for the moment, I am unsupervised (hee hee hee), so I had some fun with dolls. We finally fully completed Dororo from, obviously, Dororo (2019), so I took some photos of her for the lulz to show @rudebuster as she waits.

Yes, I'll admit, that was a blatant excuse for me to show off my replica of Rengoku-san's sword. I have the broken replica as well, but I haven't had the heart to take it out yet. It will go on the other cabinet.

And, I'm sorry for any, um, leavings in this photo (although I did censor it), but I remembered the first episode of Dororo (2019) where she was throwing horse manure at these big fat thugs who were chasing her. And I'm kind of proud of these stickers I put on our litter boxes, I thought I had kinda clever ideas for them. Beware though, possible shot of censored cat manure.

I don't want to know who will be victim receiving a blob of cat crap in their face. That'll be an encounter of the turd kind. clean the catbox @rudebuster
