Volks News is out today and here are the main takeaways (imo, anyway):

- New heads DC-H-30 (two makeup options) and DC-H-31 (one makeup option) added to Dream Choice

- DC-H-30 is open mouth

- DD Base Body 2.0 added to Dream Choice

- MDD Mochi Ashi Base Body 2.0 added to Dream Choice

- DREAM CHOICE HEADS 06, 07, 08, 09 AND 10 BEING DISCONTINUED (available until supply runs out)

- All of above effective from July 7, 2024

- DDS Base Body 2.0 announced

- New hand parts DDII-H-17 (grabby hands)

- Hands parts DDII-H-13-16 (released last Dolpa) and option bust parts for DD 2.0 and MDD 2.0 releasing in tan

- Info on Let’s Dollfie Dream mook

- Lots of swimwear

- Lots of jeans

- Unicorn princess outfits for MDD

- MDD animal sweaters!

- Penguin outfits

- Shark sweater jacket that looks suspiciously similar to one a certain dealer is famous for…

- Chimikko modeling a couple of MDD outfits, but no word on when it’ll be added to Dream Choice

Wow, this gives me a bit of hope for DDP after all. 

I'm so happy mochi ashi wasn't discontinued!

Shame about the 09 heads though.  I really like that sculpt.  But the rest sounds interesting.

I was surprised too when I saw that, I assume they want the DC exclusive heads to be the focus of Dream Choice now? I kinda get it, especially when they keep adding more and more and it gets harder to keep all the parts in stock (would be different if the orders weren’t on-the-spot), but it’s kinda sad to think there won’t be a way of getting most of those standard heads prepainted anymore. (Not to mention in tan, and if someone wanted something like a 9 boy it would mean having to order a different boy and sell his head and buy the 9 separate).

They may still appear as DCoords I guess..?

The new heads are nice though, I hope they put the images on the Dream Choice site soon so I can see them better as the usual leaks were hard to make out some details.

Interesting! I was just thinking today that I'd like to eventually get a Dream Choice DD with an 09 head, so I'm a little bummed out about that. However I'm looking forward to seeing the new heads!

As an avid fan of the 09 head, it's sad to see it leave Dream Choice. In my opinion, The 09 makeup options were some of the most versatile and timeless options they had to offer.

That's a shame about the 07s.  I'm currently wool gathering a potential trip to Japan in the coming years, and I was going to get a tan 07 to make a gal girl.  I'm sure they'll have other sculpts I'll love, but still.

Repeating everyone else, shame about 07 and 09. All of my most important dolls seem to have either of those sculpts, haha. At least they're still available as blank heads; I usually repaint mine anyway.

The model page is up now, there’s some clearer pics of the new Dream Choice heads.

I imagine July collection will be up pretty soon too.

DCH31 seems suited to semi-real or SD style repaints, and I would be interested to see what customisers do with it, even though I find it uncanny.

I'm curious if the H-30 has a sculpted mouth or not, I can't quite tell (though leaning towards it's just paint). I ADORE it though.

Those new heads are perfect IMO. Their face-ups might not be for everyone, but they hit just the right spot for me and my tastes! I really need get around to researching more into Dream Choice now that I'm running out of character dolls I'm interested in. The penguin outfit and shark jacket are definitely gonna be hard to skip on too, as I'm a sucker for cuddly costumes and animal themed outfits.

I love the new DC-H-30 head!  But my 1/4s are all somehow variations on the ":3" mouth, so uh, I might be biased.  They'd look so cute with a pair of frowny brows or dot brows 😭.  I may have to sign up for a dream choice this year.

The swimsuits are nice, but what I really want to see is the new DDS 2.0 body, that’s the big news for me.

I guess we'll really see it when owner photos start coming out. Either way, I do love how it looks.

both heads are so cute, oh my gosh... i really love the lip sculpt on DC-H-31, she looks so mature & elegant~ she's like a foil to the cute gremlin-y-ness of the 30! the factory makeup on her (in the photo with darker hair) is also lovely.. has volks done blush lines like that in the past? i can't recall seeing them before and i love how soft they are..

Dolpa collection stuff is also now online - it goes up in August (10th).

It includes DD base body 2.0, plus bust parts and gaogao hands.

as an aside, the faceup on this 29 has quite a ‘printed’ look to it (either that or extremely precise hand painting) so I wonder if it’s not too far off joining Dream Choice.

July-August at Volks is straight up out for my wallet.  I love the lemon dress set, even if I have nobody to wear it!
