So i am nosily which bag do you use to carrier your camera? ^^

 

ATM i have a total simple bag ^^" ... its black not really nice and to small now XD ...

I literally have no camera bag, I just pop it into my shoulder bag and carry it around like books XD It takes up a lot of room though since mine is a Nikon DSLR T^T

 

I just don't like the extra baggage since I normally have my doll carrier with me for transporting my girls.

Same like juu-yuki, I use just some general shoulder bag.

Sometimes I wrap the camera (DSLR) in a cloth and put it in the backpack.

Yes, I don't want to lug my beast of a bag, with all my luggage and a doll bag on the plane with me. The less I have to bring, the better!

Just general note - camera bags tend to look like, well, bags with camera inside.

In some places it may attract unwanted attention... Like big bag = expensive camera.

Something like Domke F802 is less suspicious.

Note aside: I would not want to use a camera bag because I have a hasselblad in it so it will attract unwanted attention. So I will camo it with a school bag

I also use no specific bag for my camera. 9 times out of 10 my camera is in my left hand with the neck strap wrapped around my wrist. I do carry a backpack most times I go out for shoots as well as my Volks DD carrier. Sometimes I'll put the camera in the backpack but that can be a chore to constantly have to take it off my back, take out the camera, then pack it back up. Having it in my hand is the best way to carry my camera from how I use it and do photos.

I got my camera bag about a year ago, I got a Kata DR-467 (with green trim). The bag is wonderful and has a ton of storage space and small pockets for things like memory cards, lens cleaners, filters... it looks like this from the outside:

I bought it on Amazon for just under $90.

 

As you can see from the 2nd image it even has space for a smaller laptop - I think 15" and below will work but no much larger. It also comes with a plastic rain cover to make sure it's 100% water proof if you get caught in it while outside.

I have two bags that I usually use. For carrying all the gear around (if I'm traveling), I have a Lowepro Slingshot. It has enough room for the camera, 7 additional lenses, and plenty of pockets for filters, batteries, cleaning accessories, and a place to strap a tripod. It also comes with a weather hood that I can pull up if the weather starts acting up.

 

For general purpose, I use a Tamrac Express bag. It has room for the camera, two pockets for lenses/flashes, and a front zippered area for accessories. It's much lighter than the Lowepro and easier to carry if I know exactly what I'm going to want.

 

I also have an older OEM Nikon bag (came with an N80 I bought) that I use to store stuff at home. It has enough room for all my gear, but it can get very heavy. Since it's a shoulder bag, it gets tiresome to carry if you're doing a lot of walking. I went to Japan with it one year and destroyed my back walking around with it for a day fully loaded. >.>

I use almost exclusively Think Tank bags. I have one of their shoulder bags (Retrospective 30), a backpack (Airport Antidote 2.0) and a Modular belt system for when I'm shooting sports. Their quality is as good as it gets and there's nobody who designs bags as well as they do. They're comfortable, way easier to use than most camera bags, and hold the most gear in the smallest package possible.

HOWEVER! that being said! It's an EXCELLENT camera bag, I've used it for about 3 or 4 years now and it's still like new! And though who know me know I'm not the most gentle person with my belongings

I just remembered. I recently just purchased a lowepro Pro runner. Feels good.

It was really important to me that I have a camera bag that is small and cute. Big bags are nice if you're going to carry a lot of lenses, and I use a bigger bag for storage of my camera gear at home, but I'm a smallish person and carrying a large bag is too bleepbersome for me. It discourages me from actually taking the camera anywhere when it's such a burden. I'd also prefer that my camera bag meet my general aesthetic preferences, so I wanted something cuter than the typical black bags that most companies make.

I really like it. It's purse-sized--and I don't mean "giant totebag purse that could fit a boat," but instead the smaller body size of an over-the-shoulder purse. I wear it cross-body, which is comfortable and makes it easy for me to reach my camera when I want it. I can easily carry my D7000 with an attached lens and one extra lens. Obviously it won't fit long zoom lenses, but my longest lens is the kit, which I almost never use.

 

The company also sells a larger version of the same style of bag, if tiny doesn't work for you.

 

If you're looking for a small, cute camera bag, I'd definitely recommend this one. I'm so happy with it. ♥

I use their Retrospective 7 shoulder bag and I love it. The info tags it came with say it holds a "standard DSLR" and two lenses... I've managed to stuff my a77 w/grip along with 9 lenses into it, with room to spare. I went up to a friend's place over the weekend with my a77 w/grip and 85 f/1.4Z on it, the leather pouch for the 85 f1.4Z, my 35 f1.8 and 50 f1.8, along with my Fuji X-Pro1 and its 35 f1.4 all comfortably tucked in there with room to spare. That and my Asus tablet in the tablet pouch.

 

I was thinking about picking up one of their Airport bags. Are they nice?

I really scared the strap won't last my handling though

I just use a generic black shoulder work bag, with a replaced padded strap from a travel bag. Can carry one girl in it sitting on top of the camera and a lens, with space for the box of hands and the flash. I used it daily for a month with Feena and she's perfectly fine (wrapped up in the plastic bag she came in of course).

 

Its comfortable, even when its hot out, I can keep it on my shoulders if I'm shooting photos alone so I don't need to put things down, the camera can be taken out without taking Feena out, and best of all its very inconspicuous
