Help, what causes patchy yellow spots??

There have been strange patches of stains appearing all over my MDD. My doll is wearing white clothes, so it shouldn’t be staining from the clothes. I brought my doll with me on vacation, here in China the weather is very hot and humid, does that have something to do with it? I didn’t notice it at the start of the trip, i don’t know how long they’ve been there.

Have you tried a bit of gentle washing with clear soap and a magic eraser? Maybe they're not stains, but just trapped dirt.

I tried a magic eraser with water and then alcohol, they didn’t budge :( So strange

oh yeah, thats totally an environmental factor! have had similar appear on other toys as well

on plush toys I would wash them (the stains appeared similar to cigarette smoke yellowing or coffee?) but on dolls I go full cream-and-heat stain treatment!

So far everything comes out .....
