Flower Power!

I had some of my flowers beginning to bloom in the front flower beds so I had to get a couple of the girls to take some photos with them.

 

First up is Mashiro! It was a little chilly so she had on her scarf and hat.

 

 

Her scarf was made by Cazzie and her hat was made by Waynio's wife.

 

 

Here are the flowers she found. They have such a sweet smell to them!

 

 

 

 

These shots were all taken with my new telephoto lens. I love this thing! It picks up some really great colors and details.

 

 

 

"Ooooo...."

 

 

"It feels so soft!"

 

 

"And it smells sweet!"

 

 

 

"I think it's beginning to get dark Papa."

 

 

Yes Mashiro, you're right. Let's call it a day then.

 

"Ok!"

 

 

 

 

Since the light was fading and it was getting late, we packed it up and went inside.

 

The next day after work, I wanted to take more pics. Mamimi volunteered to come out with me this time. It was a bit brighter out this time and much warmer.

 

 

"I did my hair different Papa. Does it make me look older?"

 

I think it does Mamimi. You look more adult.

 

"Good! I'm tired of being the baby in the family."

 

Silly girl, her sisters love doting on her.

 

 

 

"I like the color of these Papa."

 

 

"They remind me of Miyuki and Mashiro's eyes."

 

 

 

 

 

 

Time to rest.

 

 

She kept one of the blooms that had fallen off.

"Let's go back inside now Papa."

"I wanna see the pics you took of me!"

Great shots, but these two in particular stand out to me. I think it's because 1) the less front-on shots feel more candid, 2) in both Mamimi is in a more off-center location in the frame, which is quite dynamic, and 3) SO DAMN CUTE. XD

 

I think I might have to add that second one to my wallpaper rotation.

Nice photos. I see Mashiro knows how to dress for cold weather as well as the other DDs. And with the go inside comment I can definitely see the relationship between Mamimi and Manami.

Thanks! I do try to take more off center stuff nowadays and also do more candid styles. I'm glad you liked those two shots! It's flattering to know you want to add one to your collection!

Heh, Mashiro's a fox so she can stay pretty warm with her tail wrapped up on her legs. It wasn't THAT cold tho, I was wearing shorts. And I'm guessing you mean that since she wants to see her pics, she's similar to Manami? I suppose it's true they like to see pics of themselves but don't most girls?

Thank you! Mashiro wasn't that cold, I was wearing shorts! It might have been 59 or 60 out. And I agree that Mamimi will always be seen as the baby in the family. She wants to be seen as older but so far the only one who sees her like that is Yukino and maybe Elisabeth.

Thank you! Our Winter was pathetic so all the flowers are confused and think its April or something. Silly flowers. I'm happy you like the new lens pics. I still have a ways to go on them being great but so far my learning curve has been decent.
