Ha ha! Nope! None of my girls came with one and for my tastes, the regular DDII M-bust and the default Marisa DDS bust that Mamimi has are the smallest I want to go. So since I didn't have one to show, it wasn't included.

Thank you very much! Even tho the regular DDdy girls are similar, Yoko is so different I had to show her next to the others. That and people can see what the busts look like side by side and see if they want to change how their girls look. It's too bad they don't offer Yoko's bust as an alternate because I love the shape of hers under clothing.

I'm very interested in seeing a DD3 in person due to this. I've seen such a wide range of pics showing off the height differences online, it's confusing as to the actual size difference. I've seen some that were not seated down on the lower torso enuff in order to exaggerate the height and I've seen others where the DDII was almost the same height. But don't worry, I'll make sure to have the DD3 added in for future reference whenever Saber gets summoned to my home!

It really comes down to what head is on the body too. Some of the larger molds can make the body look even taller. With Airy's head on the DDS she looks more like the same size as the DDII but it's just an illusion.

I found this thread... does anyone here have a small bust DD? I'm hoping to get Rise and she comes with a small bust. All of my DDs are mediums, though I've seen plenty of large and dynamite pictures online. It seems like the small bust isn't as popular, and I have had no luck for comparison shots.

 

How does the small look in comparison to medium? Also, I'm curious how flat chested the small actually is. Could I have a small bust DD girl wear clothes intended for male SD dolls?

I don't have any pictures of them sans clothing but I have two s-bust girls (Sakuno and Akira) and they are pretty darn flat--so flat some things made specifically for M-bust girls fall right off them! I'm pretty sure they would fit in male clothing very well.

I don't have any nude pics of Moe, but she has an S bust and this picture might help:

I wish I had an S-bust to show you alongside others but I don't own one. Several people here do tho, so hopefully they can show you some comparison shots between it and the M-bust. Sorry about that.

Cool! I'd like to see the new MDD soon. I'd REALLY like to get another girl. I have to money for one, just can't commit i guess. I had tried for a Haruhi on ebay this past week, but sadly i lost the bidding war last minute.

Yea i still plan on going for Sakuya. I got my credit card balanced out so I'm going to enter with it and then have my wife use the bank to enter for another chance. I really debating on going for Rise as well. I think her face is adorable.

It is really helpful to see the DDII with an L bust compared to the M bust. For a while I've been wondering how much of a difference there was between the two. The short time that Naiomi was playing body snatcher with Yuriko's body, I kept thinking the bust was too small for what I wanted, but didn't have anything to compare it to.

I'm glad I could help you out! I had been wanting to do this for a long time... I just had to wait to get the DDI body back to complete the set of girls.

didn't know what body she would be but its DDI(was expecting a DD with a frame but oh well)

 

I got her from Mandarake however theres no change of hands or so?

plan on changing the head to make my custom DD of Alicia Melchiott from Valkyria Chronicles

You're welcome! Congrats on gettign your first DD! The DDI body isn't too bad if you can get around it being a bit floppy sometimes. I understand you can do something to it called "kips" that make the joints tighter and help hold poses better. Inever tried this with mine tho, I just upgraded to a DDII after a month or so. But still, it's a decent starting point for a DD. At least you can swap heads out fairly easily. Just make sure you don't let that string fall down inside the neck or you will have a HARD time fishing it back out! What head does she have now? And what head are you going to get for her?

 

As for hand changes, the DDI can only use the "glove hands" they used to come packaged with. They are not the same size or make as the DDII hands so they won't work wiht the DDI hand parts.

Umm shes got a one piece head

however it does have the screw on neck,

im planning on buying a head from SQ Labs, however I don't have any eyes so I'll need to get that along with a wig(which I have found on YJA)

 

 

im planning on buying a Ring Doll next month and after that I may plan for another DD or the upcoming Azone Saber 50cm Doll

One piece head? I've never seen that before. But I admit I haven't dealt with many of the older DDI girls before. I thought they ALL had headcaps so you can change out their eyes and such.
