What do you think the next Volks collab/preorder will be?

Just wondering what everyone is hoping to see next.  I'm...really not sure what I'm hoping for lol.

I think we’re gonna find out in the next week or so. Volks announced another Dollfie Blog update yesterday.

Honestly, volks seem really hard to predict in general (well, besides miku & idolmas releases lmao).

I know they announced at Magical Mirai they're doing a Sakura Miku reboot, and doing anything Miku as a pre-order is like printing money, soooo. . .that's my guess. 

What I WISH it would be is a Genshin Impact or Honkai Star Rail character, but highly doubt that will be the case lolol. 

I have no idea what it could be but I feel like Ayu Tsukimiya from Kanon could be possible. It's the 25th anniversary of the game and her design would be perfect to release in the winter. And Volks has already released outfits and/or dolls from other popular Key visual novels like CLANNAD, Little Busters! and Kud Wafter.

Or maybe that's just wishful thinking 🤡

I'm so surprised mihoyo hasn't done an official doll for Herta yet.

Still wishing for Frieren's Fern. At least I received volume 11 of the manga yesterday.

If no Fern then the blue haired girl from Make Heroine ga Oosugiru! would be satisfactory. Or anybody from Oshi. That was the best anime since Frieren.

This all got me thinking of how on earth they keep churning out such original characters such as Megumin (leg bandage), Rem & Ram and Bocchi (blue/yellow hairpiece).

I think the next collab will be Lycoris Recoil Chisato and Takina.

looks like you're right! I thought for sure it'd be that girl from oshi no ko given its popularity. I haven't seen lyrcosis recoil, but I looked up the characters and they look cute! I'm hoping they're versatile for giving new wigs. Aqua had the cutest face, but her blue eyebrows, to me, were limiting. I'll be watching for photos from the sidelines with interest. Anyone have any idea when we might get photos? I guess I'll have to continue to hold out hope we'll get a Ryza or other Atelier girl ha... :')

There was a screenshot in the DD Discord of an announcement posted by volks that looks like its on facebook! The announcement says to wait for the next Volks News shortly for more information. I wonder if we'll get photos online before Volks News like we did with Kaede.

Yup! "From the TV anime "Lycrosis Recoil", "Nishikigi Chisoku" and "Inoue Takina" are now available as Dollfie Dream!" then it mentions extra outfits and more infor to come in the next Volks News. It even had a banner header of the show's logo.

I'm under the impression that Volks posted this for GL/VS/VIP members...  I'm not sure where to find the article, and I am a GL member.  Sounds like more info, and probably pics, will show up as more Dolpa 52 news is released.

They announce the existence of the blog information on Twitter, but you have to use their phone app to get the link. The app is in Japanese, but they do have setup instructions with pictures and English language guides online. 

I don't know what to say about this. I think the red one will be more popular, so maybe the blue one will become the grail. The blue one had better come with boy pantsu.

I think she will, but you really could go either way on that one.

Sorry, I had to hide all the posts about the new releases. Volks updated their GL/VS/VIP terms to stipulate that not even information can be shared from that release announcement. It used to just forbid copying images and text. 
 

From their blog:

I'll unhide the posts after they make the public announcement.

The disclaimer is in the member-locked blog post, so you had no way to see it, and it wouldn't have been reposted on Facebook. 

I saw the FB post... then a load of comments about how Volks like to keep this stuff secret.

It's entirely different to Lego, where almost every new set is "leaked".
