Is Dollfie World still safe to buy from?

Hello everyone! I recently got into Dollfie Dreams and I was hoping to buy something from Dollfie World's website (dollfieworld.com). Does anyone know if they're still safe to buy from and well, in business? I'm too scared to try anything yet, and I need the knowledge of experienced doll owners 😰

I tried ordering something from them last year and they seemed to still be in business since they answered my email the following day, but when I actually ordered the item, they went missing and only reappeared when I filed a chargeback through PayPal. Supposedly the owner was ‘away on holiday’, but there was no mention of this in their emails or on their website, and the order went unacknowledged for an entire month. In the end, I got the item I wanted elsewhere.

Thank you for telling me. Honestly, that sounds super rough and not good at all 😭 The only problem is that they have something I really can't get anywhere else 😭

i felt the same way when i first browsed dollfieworld lol but once you have access to the marketplace forums you can make an "in search of" post if you want some helping hands in your search~

the doll/ item you want will pop up somewhere eventually!!!

You can definitely get your money back if you pay using PayPal, so you could give it a go if you really want it and can’t find it anywhere else. Just make sure you apply for the refund before the eligible period runs out.

I never had an issue with them, but I haven't purchased from them in about 2 years.

It's an online shop in Hong Kong that sells second hand dolls and clothing items. Most of the stuff they sell is Volks branded, but they do have some other brands of clothing and iirc they have some other dolls too.

I took a leap of faith and tried this. I managed to contact the store owner and she told me she would pick it up from the warehouse and ship in 3 working days, so hopefully on Monday or Tuesday. I'll update everyone on how it goes 😭

Update: According to the tracking number she gave me, my item has been shipped! The owner also gave me frequent updates and replied to me in less than 24 hours to all of my questions. I'm having it shipped directly to a faceup artist in China, so it cost around $6 and shipping should take only two days. So far, everything is going smoothly. I'll update everyone when the faceup artist (hopefully) receives the package.

Update #2: I'm so sorry about the long wait, I kind of forgot about this post. The faceup artist received the doll head really quickly and it went smoothly. The head was also new as described. So for me, I would totally recommend buying from them; I had no issues.

Natalie was always pretty trustworthy. I'm glad to hear she hasn't changed. 

I'm really glad to have found this thread. There's a head I really want to buy. But I wrote an e-mail to them asking if the items listed were still available. No answer yet. Maybe it's holiday season in the sinosphere but still there's Paypal to help me out in case I've problems. 🤧

Try sending them a message on WhatsApp; they usually reply quickly.

Chinese New Year just happened, so it's possible that they are on holiday until the 13th.
