i collect NSFW merch as well as style my girls in an "ero-kawaii" manner.

hi everyone! my name is nikki and i am really excited to hopefully be a part of the community!

i have adored angel philias since childhood! i browsed MFC obsessively to relax by looking at figures (i still do lol) and came across them. since then, i've loved them but never thought i would be able to actually own one (i dislike high prices for many things + thought it would be too difficult to buy one i liked).

to me, they are the most beautiful of all.

i currently have 3 dolls; AP kotone ("tiffany"), iris collect rino ("violet"), and a pureneemo himeno ("rina").

through a crazy series of insane coincidences, i was able to find kotone and rino for super cheap back-to-back. while i built my figure collection very slowly over time, it seems my BJD hobby exploded over night! right after i found them, i went to japan (i got to enjoy rino for about 2 full days lol) and got to achieve my dream of visiting the azone store in real life (radio kaikan one). seeing angel philias on display was like a dream come true (even though there were only two and they were shoved in the bottom row lol!) it is really funny thinking about how so many doll-related things happened in a row recently.

himeno was my first as a bday present a year ago. despite being a customizable doll, she still felt like "just another figure with articulation" to me and i kind of treated her as such for a while... but these two really opened my eyes at how dolls can feel very different from figures. by the way, she is my favorite pureneemo ever!

im really happy they showed me the way to discover souls within your dolls. i am now re-bonding with my himeno all over again and am planning on getting her clothing. it has been a really wonderful time for me playing with everyone. dressing them up and setting them in scenes is so ridiculously fun!

i like to think my room is a very good summary of my brain...

aside from figures and dolls, i also enjoy collecting CDs, manga, CRTs, and physicals of VNs.

my two favorite things in this whole world are vocaloid and touhou as they both represent what i believe to be the key to everything: doujin culture. the idea that *anyone* can contribute + create any type of art to strengthen a community as a whole.

im new to forum culture so please let me know if i do something wrong or break a taboo.

thank you so much ;_; and im glad with the fandom philosophy, while there are many parts about fandom that may lead to fighting, i think the good outweighs it always  i think art is the most important thing in the world

thank you so much!!! it sure is cozy, sometimes i just zone out and relax in my room i think the same way people zone out and relax in beautiful exotic vacation places xD it's so colorful and fun, and i enjoy the feeling of "someone is always looking at me". 

the girl's room at 2:51 is what inspired me, and she is the one who said that quote. it still resonates in my heart and i owe all my happiness to her

ticktock himeno is the most beautiful pureneemo ever made imo. she is just perfect! so cute yet otherworldly "anime" still. not in an uncanny valley way...so unreachable in her cuteness!!

creation, no matter if its original or a tribute to someone else's work, is so precious! such an important part of life.

Welcome. I have a lot of 1:3 DD. They definitely feel human and have their own personalities and dreams and aspirations.

I have the Touhou girls and would love to make a Touhou game but alas there are too many other ongoing projects lol.

omg! you have so many, that's an amazing collection @_@ and i hope you eventually make your touhou fangame a reality, i love doujin culture!! creativity and freedom is awesome!
