Installing eyes on a Smart Doll

Hi,

I recently came into possession of a new Smart Doll head and the person who sold it to me hadn’t installed the eyes. I was wondering if I could use blue tack such as the one that’s used for sticking posters on a wall with her. Or, are there similar ways to go about it or is there another way I can affix the eyes to the head ? I don’t want to spend money on a cradle nor do I want to use something permanent or more drastic.

Is installing a pair of eyes difficult ? Sorta seems a bit intimidating.

Blue tack will be fine. That's what they used before they developed the eye cradle. Its not too difficult, the biggest challenge is getting the eyes lined up so she doesn't look cross eyed. I've found rolling a blue tack sausage then placing it around the back of the eye works best.
