Kiwi717 Posted November 19, 2024 I hope this is in the right place. I'm about to be moving states and likely won't be able to take my DDs in the car with me due to having to travel with 4 cats. I have all the doll boxes but I'm worried about damage to the dolls or them getting "lost" in the move. Does anyone have any tips or tricks? Pointers? Any help is welcome! Thank you! Noxxbunny Posted November 19, 2024 When I moved, the majority of my dolls had to go in my shipping containers across country. TBH, I airtagged them. dropped a tag in the container itself and then for added protection, in the actual box with my dolls in them(they basically had all fit into a large travel luggage) 😂 so I was able to keep track of them to make sure both were where they were supposed to be in the couple weeks it took for delivery to my new home. Dolls that were TOO important to me(ones I would not be able to replace if they were lost), I kept their heads with me so if anything happened, I at least still had those. 1 2 Current Crew: Kaito(DDH07), Kagamine Rin, Kaito V3, 9S, Ruby(Arle), Devola(2B), Anya Forger

Even if you don't put "DDs" on it even numbering boxes and keeping a personal list for your own personal reference is a good help when unpacking.
Noxxbunny Posted November 19, 2024 Seconding a labeling system too! I did numbers and my new house has multiple floors, so each box had a number for organization and what floor/room it was supposed to go into 😆 Honestly I love keeping even individual dolls tagged all the time. I have one I take with me traveling and to cons and he has an air tag in his head at all times just in case lol. (Bonus because if it's within range of my phone, I can set it off to play a loud ringtone on command too.) 1 1 Current Crew: Kaito(DDH07), Kagamine Rin, Kaito V3, 9S, Ruby(Arle), Devola(2B), Anya Forger
Kiwi717 Posted November 19, 2024 Air tags are a great idea! Any pointers on where to get a decent handful for relatively inexpensive? Thank you!
