KultaDolls Posted November 21, 2024 Hello! I've had this account since 2017 but I should probably introduce myself finally 🤭 I'm Felix, I'm 20 and from Texas. I found Dollfie dreams and bjds around 2016 and I immediately fell in love! But unfortunately I've been in and out the hobby ever since due to worry of judgement from others. I've learned to not care as much as I've gotten older as its restricted me from enjoying the things i care for so much. I'm excited to finally enjoy the hobby long term and expand my collection! I currently have a MDD with a Meowwhiskers head and an angel philia on the way! I'm starting to get back into sewing as well and am hoping to learn how to do faceups and mods eventually Cant wait to meet you all and share pictures of my dolls and projects 💗
ZodiacMoon Posted November 21, 2024 Hi Felix!! I'm also new and figuring out sewing + other fun stuff! I wanna see pictures of your dolls! 👁🩷 Also if you're worried about other people's judgement, you can just be active online in groups like these. Or participate in any way that makes you feel comfortable.
Xiongmao Posted November 23, 2024 I'm well used to people thinking doll collecting is a strange hobby. Heck, even the DHL guy wondered what the long Mandarake boxes contained 😁. Fortunately there are plenty of places to meet other doll collectors. I wish I could sew as I'd be making them loads of cosplay stuff. Sometimes I make doll movies as it's such a great way to learn filmmaking without the expense of hiring human actors. My Dollfie doll family December 2024 😊. Towa believes they are 34 in number. Tasuke Posted November 23, 2024 (edited) Hello, and Welcome!!! i've been at this for 20 years now, - since my very first Anime Doll in the very-early-2000's - with no personal access to the Internet and online purchasing to speak of. i desperately desired to dress up my early Anime Dolls just as i wished, and had to learn to Sew, and adapt existing Barbie fashions and the like to fit them. i eventually made (and largely Failed at) completely original outfits for them, and now, two decades later, i can at least make my Girls the Ladylike, vintage-style Lingerie that i've always preferred to see them in~ Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler - 2001/2002 - - 2023/2024 - Edited November 23, 2024 by Tasuke
