meteorite Posted November 30, 2024 (edited) I was checking Sadol's site and the first thing I saw was Miyuki, Moe, and Tsubaki with new faceups as part of their Black Friday promotion. Moe Tsubaki Miyuki - I like her update the most! What do you think? I heard SQLab was popular in the 00s/10s but it's rare to see these sculpts nowadays. Yumeiro Posted December 1, 2024 About compatibility, SQlab heads vary a bit in proportions. I think Hibiki is a smaller head, for example. So she tends to look a bit off on a regular DD body. While others will look off on MDD bodies. (I wonder if DDS is a perfect middle ground..?) It was hard to get a hold of SQlab (the company) for a while, so I'd imagine that contributed to them getting less and less popular. Not many know they were acquired by Sadol. And the "marketing" for them isn't that visible or abundant either. I adore SQlabs though! Their (old?) original faceups, and eyes are very pretty! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I own 2 Tsubaki and a Misty although I'm not keeping Misty because I found a better suited sculpt for a character I wanna make she's still a beauty! Below you can find my Tsubaki on a Dynamite body and Misty on a Sister/Dynamite hybrid (has the height of a sister), I also swapped the heads if it helps. Proportions are really personal but I find the rounder sculpts like Tsubaki to be more easy to put on classic and dynamite bodies 🤔 Spoiler 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

For me, SQLab heads look best on the 50cm resin body they sell ~ @Yumeiro I recently found out SQLab also sells through Luts (eluts.com). It's in their "other brands" section.
