imomo 1/6 questions

Recommended Posts

i apologize if this isnt the right place to post, i couldnt find a Q&A section so im assuming in this general topic is okay?

i purchased a very adorable 1/6 imomo head

https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m26748161834?sv=0

shes so cute , but is this head only compatible with imomo bodies?

i was planning on just getting a body for her, but then i read a bunch of reviews that imomo bodies kinda fall apart when you try and pose them...

i couldnt find any compatibility threads with the 1/6 line, only discussion about 1/4 (seems to be the more popular size so that makes sense)

also, does anyone have a list of all the skin colors for imomo 1/6 so i can see what skin color she is classified as? just in case i do end up just buying an imomo body for her ^^
thank you so much to anyone who reads and have a great day!

i've owned an IMOMO 1/4 Hunnie for just about a Month now. she was a ver.2.0 reissue of a Fullset girl (Little Fry Cook Mayoko)

that has improved tolerances throughout her Body.

that said; her legs were still distressingly floppy out of box...

and not particularly suited to assuredly supporting her full free-standing weight, certainly not with a heavy Wig in place, at least.

So; i disassembled her Knee and Ankle joints... layering PVC tape within their radial disc-halves,

and this Tightened them Right Up... rather Nicely. She now supports her fully Wigged and Dressed weight just Fine.

i stuffed her vinyl leg shells with Polyfil Batting, which aided greatly in Centering them...

and Dampening the tendency for IMOMODOLL leg shells to spin loosely about upon their inner skeletal framing.

all of that said; IMOMOs are, at this point in their development, Hobbyist/Project Dolls

that do indeed require some work on their end owner's part

before they can begin to see anything close to their full potential...
