New friends!

It's a quiet day at Baldy's house so Rei is enjoying the peace and quiet by reading a nice book. Funny how she likes manga about a certain cute blue haired girl. =3

Suddenly, Yoko bursts in needing Rei's attention.

 

Y - "Rei! I need you to come quick! Something is wrong in the other room and I need your help!"

R - "What do you need me for? Is the situation that bad where Mai or Ryomou cannot help?"

 

Y - "Trust me Rei, YOU need to see this first."

 

R - "Fine, fine. Please show me the problem Yoko."

R - "Seriously Yoko, you know who did this. It has to be Manami."

Y - "I saw Papa fill the cat food bowl this morning before he went to work. And I know for a fact the cats can't eat THAT much food in half a day."

 

R - "Strange indeed. I know Manami will eat almost anything but I have never known her to be desperate enough to eat cat food."

I never gave them a second thought until a friend got one for a B-day present and let Rei play with it. Since then I made it my mission to find her a cool one. I think I did ok. That's really neat that you also like the Uglydolls. And thank you!

Ha ha. She got that name from "The Princess Bride" movie. Rei liked Prince Humperdink a lot so I think this is her ode to him.

Thank you! Since Yoko is my girly girl, she isn't quite the badass 24/7. So hiding behind Rei is pretty in character for her. Boomer isn't allowed to be used inside so that's another reason she isn't feeling so secure. I also agree that Rei snuggling Humpahdink is cute. She kills me when she poses like this.

Well, Yoko's my girly girl so she tends to be a little scared of unknown things. Rei on the other hand is cautious but unfazed by danger. Being the head of the household tends to do that to you.
