Do DDII-H-10 to 12 hands exist?

I was putting together a checklist/catalog of all DD hands for collection tracking purposes and I realized that while the whole range of standard size hands goes from numbers  01 to 18 currently, the hands that should be numbered 10 to 12 don't seem to exist?

There are no hands listed as those numbers on either of Volks' sites.

There is DDII-H-10B, but I'd assume it's considered part of the "large type" line of hands, that is numbered 01B through 10B. Speaking of DDII-H-10B, how do you even get that set? I could only find it secondhand and don't see it on Volks' stores either.

I tried googling DDII-H-10, 11, and 12, but didn't find anything.

Do these hands exist? Or did they just skip some numbers for some reason?

I also find it interesting that the standard range's 13 through 16 don't seem to have large type versions either.

The heart hands (DDII-H-10B) were indeed only made in large (deka) size, and are a Doll Point exclusive item. They did make these available online once—I believe around the time Shin Sato released—but otherwise are only available in-store.

They were never officially given numbers, but I believe 11 and 12 are the good job hands (👍) and the best friend/holding hands (🤝). These were made to order for VS/VIP/GL members during the anniversary event.

They haven’t said anything officially, but since the new hands are bigger than the older normal hands and they haven’t released deka versions, I suspect that going forward they will streamline the normal and large sizes into a hybrid medium size that works for both male and female dolls.

Hang on, it seems I’m misremembering this…

The good job hands (グッジョブ) were indeed made to order during the anniversary event (in both normal and large size), but the best friend hands (なかよし) weren’t—it was the lover hands (恋人つなぎ) that were part of the event, and they were only available in large size.

In case you’re wondering, the best friend hands were first displayed in 2013, but only made available to VS and VIP members in 2016, and came in three styles: DD-DD, DD-MDD, MDD-MDD. There were no large versions of any of these to my knowledge.

I like to the think of the lover hands (which only came in large size) as the deka version of the best friend hands (which only came in normal size), but idk if that’s what Volks intended. It allows me to consider them as DDII-B-11 and 12 when arranging my spare hand parts 😅

Are newer hands (I assume that's everything from 13 to 18?) generally in that sort of medium size range then compared to old hands and Deka hands?

I sometimes feel like some of the 1 to 9 hands can look oddly small (like the fisted or closed hands), but most open-posed Deka feel slightly too big to me, so a medium size would be nice to have.

I haven't had the chance to see any of the 13 to 18 hands in person yet, but they look nicely sized in photos I've seen!

Yes, hand parts 13-18 are an in-between-y size—noticeably larger than normal hand parts 1-9, but not as big as the deka versions.

Oh, that is interesting, I was waiting for large versions to get for my boys, but if it's like that I might just get these ... it really does feel like it is possible that they won't release them in an actual large version. I just hope they won't look too disproportional when used together.
