Skygirl Posted February 3 Does anyone have a favorite face-up artist that can work on 1/6 heads that anyone can recommend? I have 2-3 new doll projects in mind, but I can't get the looks I want without a custom job. I'd like to shell a 1/6 Sailor Saturn/ Hotaru Tomoe, and a face-up that is inspired by a Volks classroom head I saw in an old doll magazine advertisement. ragnamuffin Posted February 3 Do you mean 1/6 fashion dolls or 1/6 YoSDs? I’m guessing from your other post that you mean fashion doll size, which is a lot harder to find, particularly if you want the anime aesthetic. meltychoco_BJD Posted February 3 (edited) I don't know if this artist takes commissions, but is this the kind of faceup style you're looking for? I'm pretty sure these are 1/6 or OB11 type dolls. If they don't do commissions, maybe you could ask them if they know anyone else who does this style of work?
