Squeaking!?!

Recommended Posts

Cherubis

I welcomed my first DD, Cherisdia in December, and since I first had her, her body squeaked when I moved her (torso especially). Before I label it a defect, is that normal?

Vinyl kinda squeaks. Especially when it rubs against itself.

Yep, tight joints on DD's tend to make squeaking noises. I have some girls that do it more than others. If your girl is mainly doing it when you twist her torso, you can always take her apart and lightly sand the two piece post the comes up from her lower torso. That will help it slide better. You can do this to the shoulder joints too but don't sand too much or the arms will become loose in the sockets. If you decide to do this, make sure you use a very fine grit like 600 or 800 so you don't rough up the plastic.

I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

A few of my bodies also make some noise when I pose. It's just how it is. ^_^
