MDD Bodysuit (Preventing Stains)

Recommended Posts

Emi_memi

Hello! I recently ordered my MDD gal a bodysuit and I wanted to know what to expect. I have read after placing in a bodysuit, clothes are incredbly hard to put on and staining may still happen. I ordered the V2, the one that goes up the the wrist and neck. She has a few dots that do not bother me but I am terrified of even more harsher stains. I plan to order her dollfie outfits and many are lined with white fabric. Finding replacement tan parts is near impossible so any advice is welcome!

Expect to not like it. A lot of people here really hate bodysuits. Personally, I don’t mind them, but it’s true that they can ruin the aesthetic of an outfit and that they make posing the doll a bit more difficult since they restrict movement and you won’t be able to see the joints, making it hard to get them into the position you want or to put loose parts back into place if they fall out (bane of my existence 🙄).

I wouldn’t say that they make putting clothes on incredibly difficult (unless the outfit is tight-fitting), but clothes definitely slide on easier without them.

Staining is still possible even with a bodysuit, but if you’re worried, you can wash the clothes first to get the excess dye out.

I totally get wanting to avoid stains because they’re time consuming to treat, but Tan skin doesn’t have the issues White skin had (changing the colour of the vinyl), so you can always get them out with Dream Rescue or acne cream without adverse side effects. I’d be more concerned with your Angelphilia, since stain treatment will absolutely ruin the blushing.

Personally I don't fell like the bodysuits are very limiting when it comes to movement, and at least with the Volks ones I never had it happen that a doll got stained through it. Looks wise it comes down to preference, honestly, I even like it on arms and especially legs because it covers the joints and has a more seamless and natural look. The Volks suits also sit so well that I almost get no wrinkles. The only aesthetic downside is the neck/collarbone and cleavage and the stomach imo.

I also usually don't have a problem fitting even fairly tight socks over the suits, so I wouldn't call that an issue either.

I do get the fear with my AP as well. I do check her periodically but the positive is it's not too hard to get replacement parts. I did order some clothes and shoes that have lining.

This little gall will not be showing cleavage or stomach and worst case I will remove her bodysuit for nice photos. This gives me hope then!
