Hikaru?

I've been hearing a-lot about this "Hikaru". Apparently they do face-ups. Does anyone know how much they charge, what their "speciality" is or how to contact this person?

About Me: I really love doing faceups on Dollfie Dream and more recently BJD. I believe that it is so important to get the look the customer wants for her or his doll and I like to take that into consideration. ^_^

 

 

Materials: Liquitex "soft body" Acrylic Paints , Liquitex Gloss, Winsor & Newton Brush Cleaner, (non-oil) Reeves Soft Pastel Set, Assorted Brushes, Zoukeimura Finishing Powder Spray, Kneaded Eraser, Colored Pencils (fine details, makeup planning), Zoukeimura Shimmery Powder (pink and also white)

 

How to Order:

send me a pm (and notify me on this thread that you sent it) me with these details:

 

Customer Name:

 

Doll Head Mold: (name of doll or headmold name)

 

Overall Makeup style: (Heavy, sweet, normal, punk, goth, colorful, sexy (etc.))

 

Eyebrows: (what type of eyebrows and what color? Sad,happy,mischeivous,short,long etc.)

 

Eyelash Style: (angled eyelashes, single eyeliner, droopy eyelashes, stylized eyeliner etc.) Please Note : I will apply real eyelashes if you supply them.

 

 

Eyeshadow: (no eye shadow/ colored eye shadow, how light/dark do you want it? glossed lids? How glossy? *please note* I will usually shade the eyelids in a slightly darker skin color to add depth to the face.)

 

Lips: (Lip color? Do you want them glossy? Do you want them covered in shimmer powder? How shimmery?)

 

Mouth Line style: (frowning or smiling/ normal?)

 

Blush: (blush color? pink/red/pale pink (etc.))

blush on chin?)

 

Moles/Beauty Marks/Birth Marks/small* Tribal Markings (etc.): (placement/number of beauty marks/moles (etc.) )

 

Optional: Name of character/short storyline (so I can get a feel of the character.)

 

 

Payment:

Payment will be done AFTER I am finished with your head(s) and will include a total of return shipping and the faceup commission (I use paypal and will give you the information in a private message) :

 

Dollfie Dream Faceup : $40.00 (without shipping)

 

Super Dollfie/Delf/Bobobie/Soom/U-noa (etc./same price for all scales) Faceup : $40.00 (without shipping)

 

Faceup Removal: $10.00 Extra (without shipping)

 

Small Subtractive Modifications (mouth sanding, nose sanding/sharpening, chin sanding, eyehole enlarging etc. I will not do mouth opening, closing eyes etc.) -

$5.00 - $25.00 (may be less depending on difficulty of mod)

 

 

 

Shipping:

You are in charge of shipping your head both ways (I live in the USA). I will take great care of your head and repack everything safely!

for International buyers (I use USPS First Class) : I can give you a quote on how much you have to pay for me to ship it back out to you (return shipping). (everything can be discussed through private messaging including addresses etc.)

I am not responsible for anything handled by USPS once it is out of my hands. (damage, lost, stolen)

 

FAQ:

 

What if I don't like your final faceup?:

I will redo it up to 2 times and if you still do not like it after the second time, you will have to pay a fee of $20.00 and have to pay return shipping. Anything like adding something (darkening eyebrows, eyeshadow or something is okay as I do not have to redo the whole faceup)

 

When will you stop taking commissions?:

Hopefully, not for a while. Although, I will shorten the order list to 3 slots during the school year and 5 during Summer.

 

Will you copy (random person)'s faceup?:

No but I can do a similar one!

 

Will you give me in progress shots?:

No, a final picture will be taken as it is quicker that way.

 

I don't understand your waiting list system...?

 

Whoever notifies me or is interested in commissioning me (and has the DD head in hand) goes into the order list. Once the 3 spots (sometimes 4 or 5) are filled other orders go into the waiting list.

After I am finished an order in the order list, the next person in the waiting list goes onto the order list.

 

___PLEASE NOTE___: Rarely, I will take someone off the waiting list and put them into the order list if it was an emergency or if their order will take very long.

Hikaru does a great job with faceups! I commissioned this person for my custom DD modeled after Amami Haruka from IdolM@ster. The faceup cost around $50 (around the norm for good work) and s/he made sure to send pictures for my approval before shipping the head back. If I asked for changes, they were flexible to incorporating them in.

But I didn't deal with Hikaru directly though. Another person had the face-up done by Hikaru for this DD and that person just wasn't bonding with the DD and put her up for sale and I bought her.

 

Even though I didn't deal with Hikaru directly I would highly recommend him. The details he puts in the face up are amazing and he does a fantastic job.

He does do beautiful face-ups, but it's not really in the family budget. So one question, was the $40 + shipping worth it? Because I've been trying to do my own, but she never has the expression of humanity that I want her to have.

Hi cherubis ^^ its ok. But if you need a faceupartist than dont put in doupt to use hikarus sevice ^^

As i told you too, its worth the 40$ complete! He can satisfy most of all wishes very well ^^ (i have two head painted by him too)

Only the waitinglist is a little bit ！(◎_◎;) ... But enough time to save the money
