Very happy to have finally joined!

Hello everyone! I'm GebGeb a 23 years old cosplayer from Canada. I've been a figure collector since a long time until I discover the wonderful world of dollfie dream 4 or 3 years ago I think. I can't stop looking at all the beautiful pictures of dollfie dreams, they're all true beauties

 

I always wanted to be part of the community but i'm kind of shy, after a lot of time thinking about it I finally suscribe to this forum. I'm very happy because nobody in my entourage care about DD's, so now I got a place to share my love for them and I really wish to be more active in the community (I'm on the dollfie dream flickr too but I never been really active).

 

Can't wait to meet everyone! And sorry for my english i'm french so it's not perfect ^^

Welcome aboard! We seem to have quite a few cosplayers here who love DD's.

 

So do you have any plans to get a Dollfie in the future? Or do you have any now?

Baldylox : I own a Rin Tohsaka, she's really beautiful but I don't really connect with her so I hope I can trade her for my dream girl in the future ^^ I'm looking foward to the Sakura Wars DD too!

 

Each time there's a lottery i'm so hesitant to enter for a doll, after it I always regret XD (Right now i'm in a dilemma if I should adopt Lucy or not)

Ohhh, Rin is a gorgeous girl! I'm sorry to hear you aren't connecting with her tho. Who is your dream girl tho? If you have Rin, I'm sure she would be a great trade value for someone wh omay have your dream girl. You can always put up a "Wanted" post to see if there's any interest from anyone here. Can't hurt to ask!

I know that feeling. I had the money to get Beatrice but I didn't go for her. And now I regret that as all the pics form owners make her look dazzling. I told myself that if I ever saw another DD come up for preorder or lottery that I was even slightly interested in, I'd go for her. So I'm super happy I went for Saber Extra. Now all I have to do is continue to wait for her to be released stateside. Ohhh the pain of waiting!!

Heh, I also agree! I think it would be really awesome to see this. I know people are interested in DD's at cons because myself and 3 friends went to Animazement in Raleigh, NC and we carried our girls around the whole time. We got LOTS of attention with them and people enjoyed seeing them in their defaults. We even found people cosplaying as our girls and took pics with them! THAT was cool as hell. I love Beatrice, I'm working on her dress right now (cosplay) and I own the plushie and small chibi figure ^^ I connect so much to that character (the visual novel is incredible!). Maybe I should get Lucy lol or I might regret it later XD

If you have a Rin and want to trade her for a Beatrice, I think you have more value in Rin monetarily than in a Beatrice. If that doesn't bug you, taking a loss in money, I am sure *someone* with a Beato will do a trade even up or add some cash to it for Rin. Ask around, you may be surprised!

 

And I don't blame you for having Beatrice as your "Unicorn", she's a beautiful girl and I loved her in the anime.

Thanks! I was a bit worried about my girls at first but I carried them on my arm the whole time and since I'm a bit big and imposing, no one bumped into me or tried anything stupid. But I understand your concerns. Here's to hoping you can do some cosplay with a DD soon!
