Cosplay!

I've cosplayed of creeper girl from Minecraft this year at Barcelona's Manga convention ^^

Oh god I have so many cosplays planned for next year, too bad there's not enough conventions to wear them. ; ^ ;

 

Trying to finish my Inaba Yui and Senomiya Akiho cosplays ATM. They are pretty much finished except that I have to tiny little things to finish and I've just had too much to do to really sit down and take care of that. D:

I've done a pretty decent Uncle Fester, though it'll be a while before I do it again; you've really got to shave the head and eyebrows to do it justice.

I have been cosplaying since 2004 (year before I found about Dollfie Dreams) so this will be my 10th year with cosplay. I won't be listing all my costumes as there are plenty of them (around 70 or so) but I really enjoy sewing costumes for myself and for my partner in crime. I mostly cosplay from anime but I'm also a quite a fan of Sound Horizon so that will be on my list when they release a new album.

 

Cosplay has taught me various skills that can also be used with dollfie things like wig care and sewing and I don't see myself quitting this great hobby anytime soon, if ever.

I thought about cosplaying but I'm pretty self conscious body wise, so I don't think I'll ever get around to it.

 

But, I am interested in making prop armor. Plus, if I can pull this off, maybe I can do something to a smaller...1/3 scale.... >>

I have only been to one anime con (lots of sci-fi cons in the past ) and that was this past summer. I dressed (as best I could at the last minute) as one of my favorite anime characters - Miu Amaha. I chose her gothic work fashion because I had to have the neko ears. The wings were a pain all day though. I kept forgetting I had some on my back and I would lean on stuff.

 

 

It was fun though. I took MY Miu DD with me and had her dressed in her regular school uniform. We both had a Pannya (scaled accordingly). My bigger Pannya even wore a tiny black top hat.

 

I am planning new characters for next year.

That is an amazing cosplay, Misheru! You and Miu are gorgeous!!! Having perfect Pannyas is a fantastic touch to complete such a cool cosplay!

Thank you very much! I love having a life-size Pannya. It is my favorite plushie.

 

Unfortunately no one had a clue who Miu was (other than my guys), but several people liked Miu as a doll and thought my cat ears were cute.

Everyone looks so good! ;o; I've been cosplaying for a couple of years now~ I am a huge VN fan, Fate/Stay being my favorite and Umineko being my second favorite. This year I'm planning on tons of Type-Moon cosplay! For now, here's a couple of my Umineko cosplays! (I'm still waiting for pictures from past events of my cosplay ;u;)

Erika Furudo from Umineko Chiru! She shows up in Episode 5 of Umineko, and she's one of my absolute favorite characters!

Lambdadelta from Umineko! I have huge respect for her after Episode 8 of the visual novel!

Seven Stakes of Purgatory group for Katsucon! I am Asmodeus (the one with the blonde pigtails!)

I recently went to the Phantay Star 2 fan event here in Osaka and cosplayed as a navigator. ♥ It was really fun and I met tons of cute and lovely people. ; ^ ;

 

While not nearly as good or well done as others here, I did happen to do a cosplay one Halloween as my own take on Kenpachi Zaraki from Bleach.

We were into Bleach for quite a time and the Hubs was supposed to do a Kenpachi cosplay to partner with the Kiddo for Halloween but I didn't have time to sew his outfit so we just did Yachiru's.

While not nearly as good or well done as others here, I did happen to do a cosplay one Halloween as my own take on Kenpachi Zaraki from Bleach.

HA HA HA! That is sooooo awesome! I could have had loads of fun with my own Yachiru hanging off my shoulder! She looks so nice too, great work on that outfit and wig setup!

 

I wish I had a wig for Kenpachi's crazy hair but since I didn't, I basically just got the biggest sword I could find and used Kenny's uniform since I liked him a lot. Maybe I'm Ikkaku after he takes the captains position and grew a ghoatee? LOL
