Skorpion9x Posted yesterday at 12:30 AM Hi. I registered my account here in 2020, but haven't really been active (only posted twice before this). I had on several occasions thought that I would introduce myself and become an active member of the community here, but always got lazy or whatever. Now I'm finally doing it nearly five years later lol. Anyway, I started getting interested in dolls I guess around 2018 from seeing them occasionally in the 4chan figure thread and on Twitter. My first doll was Azone's 1/3 Chino doll, followed by Syaro and a few Azone 1/6 dolls. Then from seeing a lot of custom MDDs on twitter, I began to want one myself. One day there was a really cute head being advertised by a seller that I followed on Twitter, which really stuck in my head. So I decided to drop a bid on it for 15,600 yen, not at all expecting to win, but I did for 15,500! I immediately got the idea to name her Ichigo from the winning bid amount (1 "ichi" + 5 "go"), but I later thought that was a pretty dumb way to come up with her name. I tried to think of something else, but in the end I still liked Ichigo, so that's what I named her anyway. Around the same time, I won another head from the same seller (they actually both arrived to me in the same box from the proxy). At the time, I was really enjoying an album called "Tiara" by Seventh Wonder, and that very much inspired her design and of course her name, Tiara. Below are pictures of Ichigo (taken today for this post); and Tiara in an attempt to replicate the album cover (taken some time ago). Anyway, before this becomes a short novel about my entire doll-owning history, fast-forward to today, I now own 2 Azone 1/3 character dolls, 4 MDDs & 1 MDD(head)xDollbot(body), 2 TinyFox 1/4 dolls, 4 TinyFox 1/6 dolls, and 9 smaller 1/6 dolls (8 Azone and 1 Seaside Peach Kinako). Besides here, I also post my dolls on X (@sasoriqx) and the 4chan bjd thread (well currently 8chan until 4chan comes back). And I look forward to sharing my photos here as well!
