Shining Blade DD

Wolfheinrich is reporting a Shining Blade DD release, with a DD of Maxima. I'm unfamiliar with Shining Blade myself -- show? Game? Same "universe" as Airy and Neris?

Shining Blade is part of the "Shining" Universe of visual novels and games. Tony Taka does most of the artwork for those so you know the girls are all either super kawaii or hot as heck.

 

So this is a similar thing to Airy and Neris since they were from another Shining series... was it Wind or Hearts? I can't recall. Either way, if this is true about the girl pictured, she'll need to be an L-bust DD to live up to that artwork.

And I already have a nice pair of eyes I can swap out for her, since Volks will probably use the creepy pupil-less eyes that they used on Airy & Neris.

I can't wait to see the mold for this one! I've been dying for another serious-faced girl like Saber or Rin, and she looks like she could be one.

I'm hoping that they learned from that, or it wouldn't look as creepy with dark eyes. In any case, I'm worried, since I really like her artwork despite not knowing anything about her.

How odd--that's now two licenses Volks has announced having before announcing release details. (The other being the Sakura Taisen license.) I have to wonder if something has changed in Volks' legal department, or if they're finally catching on that with expensive merchandise people like extra time to beef up their wallets. I also wonder if she and the Sakura Taisen girl(s) will be web order or Dolpa, now that Volks looks to be breaking pattern.

 

She does have a really cool character design; however I don't know beans about any of the Shining series, so I don't know if I'm at all interested in her until I get to see the head sculpt. That is going to be one epic outfit though.

Since a half year I plan to send a sqlab head to hikaru to get this girl and now volks release her? Now i am excited how they let her look like ^^"...

Shining Blade is the new one that's coming out in 2012.

But i am a little afraid, hope she didnt get a DDdy body >_> ... Dont like that, but a split would be possible than hope xD

Since I want a more mature-looking girl as well, Even if I don't know the series and/or character, I hope that she will be to my liking.

It's an interesting looking design. I'll be curious to see how she turns out.

Maxima also makes an appearance in Shining Hearts from what I understand.

 

There's a few other female characters from this series, maybe they'll release two like they did with Neris and Airy?

Wow, it is nice to see this! I wonder when she will be released, or when we'll get more info? Heck, we've known about the Sakura Taisen DD for awhile now and still no more news, Volks is such a tease.

 

I'm really looking forward to seeing her sculpt! I'd love another mature, non-cutesy looking girl like Saber. It is always hard to tell what expression DD's will have based on their art though, and some of the art I've seen of this girl has her with a sweet smile.

I'll be following this as a fan of Tony Taka's designs. It'll be interesting to see the Dollfie Dream take on it & how they'll handle her pretty unique dress & very long hair. Just hope the release isn't till at least fall so I can recover from the $$$ spent on Saber Alter.

Oh Oh...if she is anything like her artwork I am in trouble. Dark hair and Dark eyes??? A must have for me!!!!

My wallet groaned when I saw the picture, but I'll have to wait to see what the final design looks like. If they're going with that outfit, I'm going to see if I can get in a split for it, unless they decide to release that one separately.

 

I'm a fan of Tony's designs from the Shining series. I'm a bit sad that none of the more recent games have made it over to the states.

I hope they release one of the elf girls along with Maxima, I'd love to see a cute DD elf!

You know, the more I look at drawings of her, the more I have to wonder how they're going to handle that bodice. I'm guessing it'll probably be boned or wired like crazy, because otherwise I have no clue how that sucker's going to stay up. Yay for character designers defying physics!

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it wasn't the little clear elastics like with Megu 16's dress.

I can't wait to see her! With that outfit, she'll surely be a gorgeous DD.

Aw man I bet she's going to be a beauty!! My wallet cries.

 

I kinda wish they would make a DD of yukihime because of that sexy ninja-ish outfit OR Altina because elf ears and that blue outfit would be so so awesome.
