It'll be interesting to see how pretty Maxima turns out, but I'm thinking that I'll only be after her outfit as the other two didn't tickle my fancy that much (though I admit Airy is lovely with different eyes/clothes/wig). I was going to say, that if Volks does an elf, it should be Xecty. Maxima could be pretty cool, I'll be looking forward to seeing her as a DD. She'd be an excellent opportunity to make a bow accessory as well as an elf head. ST also had Mao for a catgirl. Tears was a PS2-era game though; no idea if Volks would go back and release them. I have a sneaking suspicioun that the Shining Blade DD's will be for Dolpa 27! We'll see if I'm right by next Thursday/ Friday when the DP 27 guidebooks arrive in the Volks stores and ship out in Japan! Elwing is actually in a few of the games and at least will have some minor part in the newest Shining TV show about to air (they've shown character designs for the show and she was included) but despite that I don't think they will release an elf as neat as it would be. I just have this feeling they wouldn't, which is sad, because I like Elwing. Aside from Elwing, I wish they'd make a Xiaomei since she's cute. I imagine volks wants a somewhat universal appeal to the dolls. There are so many nice characters from the shining series though! I personally wold love to see melty on DDS complete with big floppy hat and ice cream monster! XD Blanc neige and kureha from tears were quite popular but that is from an older series. Mistral the sexy pirate could be neat but she has elf ears. The list goes on, but again I think it will be Maxima and the last sister Amyl. I am hoping for some gorgeous sharp styled tsundere eyes! I love her outfit so much~ They usually do about one MDD a year so it's possible... though unlikely, I don't think she is one of the more popular characters.
