Poofiemus Posted March 15, 2012 Happy Pi day to you too! No pie for me today, but a friend just gave me a pile of Hershey's Kisses so I guess I'm probably good on sugar for a while now. XD I did pick up a couple dragons on Dragon Cave and am hoping to give them Pi themed names when they hatch, like I did year before last with my magma dragon Mag Pi. My grandfather also linked me a Pi-themed song: http://www.tvkim.com/watch/812/kims-picks-what-does-pi-sound-like Kind of pretty, too. In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser. milkytea Posted March 15, 2012 There's a pie baking in the oven right now for pi day~ ♥ It's blueberry-apple, and we're going to have it topped with lemon gingersnap ice cream. I wish I could have made it from scratch, but I didn't plan accordingly. I talked my husband into purchasing it (not that he needed much convincing, hee hee) as a combination of White Day/Pi Day. Happy Pi Day everyone!
archangeli Posted March 15, 2012 Happy Pi Day to you all too!! I'm avoiding sweets since I'm getting over a cold (and sugar screws up my immune system) so I celebrated with tea and toast! Archangeli.net | Twitter: @MsArchangeli | YouTube: Archangeli
Saluli Posted March 17, 2012 I don't know what a Pi day is... Summon ritual is over. And finally complete.
milkytea Posted March 17, 2012 I don't know what a Pi day is... It's a day to celebrate π, the mathematical constant standing for the ratio of any Euclidean circle's cirbleepference to its diameter! It's a very long number, but 3.14 are the first three digits... so it is celebrated on March 14th! And then you can also eat pie as a play on words!
