Volks haul

Even though I said I wasn't going to take part in DP26, I braved the rain and decided to go to the Volks store to see if by chance they had anything left over. I also wasn't sure if I should throw this into the Photo Story section, but this sub-forum seems appropriate enough.

 

In trying to do a little spring cleaning, Neris decided to help out a little.

N: Hey, thanks for getting a storage case! This Zip-Lock is getting a bit full.

 

N: There we go! Nice and tidy!

 

While I wasn't looking, she spotted something she shouldn't have.

N: HEY! What's this!? Is this from the Volks store!?

 

N: Inquiring minds want to know! I must investigate...

 

After rummaging through the bag, taking everything out and displaying it nicely...

N: Ahmagawd! Is all of this for me!?

M: NonN: Thank you so much!!!

M: Uhh...

 

N: I've always wanted a pair of cat ears!

M: Those are goi

 

N: And you braved the rain today! I bet I'd be nice and comfortable wearing this if I was outside in that weather.

M: That set's fo

N: Short blonde hair? Mmm, I don't think it's really my color, but I think I'd give it a try. My hair can grow back, right?

M: Before you totally get carried away, I was trying to say that none of the stuff I got today is for you.

N: What?

 

After some time trying to calm her down...

M: Here, take a look at this e-mail I got earlier in the week.

N: Am I reading that right? *sniff*

M: I was going to let you know when the time got closer to her arrival, but yes, you'll have an older sister soon. I'm sure she'll let you borrow the Mouton set and the cat ears if you ask her nicely. Who knows, she might even let you have those ears.

N:Oh thank you so much! I'm sorry I jumped to conclusions. I think having a sister is going to be a lot better than having these clothes. *hug*

M:I'm glad you're happy We'll have to throw a party when she arrives.

N: Yaay!

Haha, she really took that quite well. I guess she really wants someone around closer to her own size; not even remotely upset that the items weren't for her once she found out why. You've got yourself a good little girl in Neris there.

Aww! What a cute way for Neris to find out about her new Big Sister ^O^ You definitely picked out some nice outfits & wig I can't believe you went out in the rain today! But hey, when you love something you'll brave anything ^O^ That's what I did in order to have sushi for lunch today >:D

 

Neris is an adorable kitty! I definitely prefer her as a brunette, but maybe I'm biased since I am a brunette Great job with this mini story!

She's spent a good eight months so far by herself and although she really hasn't let on, I do think that she's been a little lonely. She's a good kid, though. It'll be nice when Haruka arrives

Thanks! There were a few other outfits that I was eyeing that were left over from their DP26 stock, but I had to hold off ^^;
