DD Fanbook Special Wig Order

Many moons ago I ordered Natsuki's special wig through Volks and the DD Fan book. I have never received it nor have I heard anything about it. Did anyone else order the special wigs? I beleive it was for Moe and Natsuki. I just sent Volks an email. I cannot beleive I forgot about it but I also cant beleive I never got the wig. It has been like 5 months!!!!

I heard that the wigs have been produced. I guess it is a matter of them getting out of Japan and then to Volks USA and then I assume Volks USA sorting them out and shipping to us. We have a whole group order for them here on the forum and this has certainly been a long wait.

Oh okay, thank you. I thought I was going mad. I cant even find my original order email so I was beginning to think I never actually ordered it, LOL. I just sent Volks a quick email asking about my order. I will post here again when they respond.

Nope, you're not going crazy! I also ordered one of each wig and haven't heard of anyone stateside getting them yet. I have seen a very few pics on FFM of them but not many.

 

It's crazy how long these are taking. Maybe anything that Volks says you can order mulitples of with no limits is set to take 6-8 months minimum now? I mean, just look at Saber....

 

Please let us know if Volks replies to you as I'd love to hear any info on these.

I placed the order on October 25, 2011. It says "This order is pending review."

I will post whatever Volks replies to me on here asap!!!!

I hope they come in soon--I ordered with someone else and am just dying to get Natsuki's wig for Akira. Nothing else I have really works on her ^^;

The only news that we have received from our headquarters is that

these items have finished production and are being made ready for

shipping and distribution now.

 

We are in the process of trying to arrange our shipping schedule for

these items, so we thank you for your continued patience. We should

hopefully have more information soon.

 

As soon as we know anything we will make an announcement, so

please watch our website, blogs and your inbox for news.

I'm glad to hear that they've finished with production, but like everyone else I'm tired of waiting! LOL. The DDH-06 prepaints came out after they did, and were finished faster!

 

Let's just hope that the ponytail on Natsuki's wig is nothing like Saber Lily's. :/

I have the first version of Natsuki's wig and its fine...so I'm hoping this will be the same.

Maybe they will put them in the same freight shipment as the first batch of Sabers XD

I ordered mine through DollfieWorld, and they arrived in December iirc, but I paid quite a bit more than the VolksUSA price - and although they are really nice wigs, it wasn't worth the extra money LOL

Announcement – Moe & Natsuki’s Special Wigs!

Hello everyone!

 

We know that you have been patiently waiting for the DD Official Fan Book Special Wigs for Moe and Natsuki.

 

We are very sorry for the extended wait.

 

We have some good news, however!

 

These items are expected to arrive in our next shipment. It is on its way to us from Japan now and we expect it to arrive soon.

 

Many items will be coming this time, so it may take us a little while to get everything sorted and shipped. We expect to be able to ship these items around June or early July.

 

Once again, we thank you for the wait. It should only be a little while longer until these items make their way to you!

Frikkin finally! Sheesh.... I had been going nuts trying to figure out why no one had heard anything about these. I even talked to Rochelle about it this week and she had no ideas. At least we now know we will see them eventually. That makes me feel a bit better. But I will die laughing if they arrive AFTER my Saber does!

 

I just wish they would have been a bit beter at giving us SOME idea of when to expect them. Not telling us anything and leaving us wondering just sucks.

Yeah it would be nice to get better updates, but at the same time they have to wait for Volks Japan to tell them what they need to know. Otherwise it would just be updates of "We don't know yet, sorry!". But after awhile they could put a lil update saying they haven't heard anything just to let everyone else know that they aren't keeping anything to themselves and leaving everyone else in the dark :3

 

It would be so bad if the wigs arrived after your Saber XD;;; Hopefully not!

I just got my shipping confirmation email from Volks on the two wigs I ordered forever ago! I was really wondering if I would see these before or after I got Saber Extra....

 

Hopefully everyone else will be getting their emails soon for these!

 

I can't wait to get them in so I can try them out! Miyuki is trying the Natsuki wig and I think Mamimi will be trying the Moe wig.

Kinda surprising because said be June / July before see them. Maybe means they have Sabers in this shipment too for first run folks. So maybe second run will be in sooner too.

I had the same thought run thru my head! I was just talking to someone about Saber when I got that email. My heart skipped a beat when I saw it was from Volks.... I seriously had forgotten all about the wigs and was fixated on this being a Saber shipping notice. I'm still happy the wigs are coming tho, it's taken too freakin long for these to show up.

 

As for the possible early delivery of Saber, I am personally doubting it will happen. I'm pessimistic tho so maybe Volks will pull one out for us and actually ship early. But I'm not getting my hopes up for it.

Yay!!!!! Finally my wig has shipped!!! So happy!!! I am planning it for my H06 head that is sitting there...*must get body*

Hooray! My Natsuki and Moe wigs finally arrived!

 

Now to figure out who gets to try them. They took so long to get here I've done forgot what my original plan with them was going to be.

Natsuki of course got her new wig, while Aya got Moe's, to better match her sisters, Aoi and Ai.
